(whoever's rooting for the underdogs is rooting for murderers, cause that's what they are) They stormed the train without a ticket, kicked people out, were spared by the mercy of the eternal engine; and even though they kept killing guards in their so called "rebellions" not ONE Tailie life was taken (only their limbs). I'm honestly rooting for Melanie AND Mr. Wilford even though they're enemies. He's a great leader and she's the best engineer in that train. They may not like it, but they need each other. I don't agree with the Tailies' fight and grievances but not beacuse I believe in a class system, it's just my belief against all violence, no matter the reasons for it. The way I would have done it if I were Mr. Wilford is design the train as a homogenous habitat instead of a Low level/Chinatown/Cabaret/Sushi Bar/Country Club system. Some people are living in literal penthouses and others inside containers. It's unfair because I believe in a meritocratic system where everybody needs to have the same chances at success, not just the rich. Which also reminds me of the kindest thing they do for the Tailies, they don't "kidnap kids" they literally give them a fair shot at success to become engineers, doctors...whatever. It's still set in this class-based system though which is kind of reminiscent of our world (we have scholarships for the best of the best).
