IH H: Jughead is clearly better, Betty was insane to even consider being with a wannabe musician like Archie. He's just a typical jock who can't be single and loves to take his shirt off in every other scene. Jughead's character actually has substance. One of the few reasons why viewers want Barchie in the first place was because they were bored with the current couples and wanted for there to be a change. The other reason was because they hated it when archie friendzoned her in season one and betty fans felt vindicated by Archie showing a interest. They can't seem to realize that Archie is a player who wants what he can't have. This wasn't even the first time he tried to cheat. When he was dating Josie, he tried to kiss veronica. Difference was that veronica cared enough about her friend to stop it. How can someone like him be better than Jughead ?. I wanted Barchie to happen only because I wanted the show to get it over with and for people to get it off their system. Bughead is meant to be and when the show ends, Betty and Jughead will be the final ship.
