These chemicals are much stronger than the hunger of a person on a diet, or the need of a drug or alcohol addict to get their next fix, they are much much muuuuch stronger than a horny person's need for sex, these chemicals are so strong, they can hijack your body and force it to struggle or breath or run or protect itself through reflexes without any input from you at all. Try holding your breath for 4 minutes and see what happens. Your body will force you to breathe whether you want to or not. Why don't you just kill yourself is a joke. Even if you devise a way to kill yourself before your survival instinct can take over, for example by jumping off a bridge, your survival instinct will attack your thoughts and feelings, it will flood you with fear and try to stop you. That's why it's so hilarious to me when people call suicide victims cowards. Do you know how much bravery is needed to actually fight against your survival instinct and win?
