If Eren succeeds and kills every one of his enemies what will happen after that genocide? Will he live his remaining time freely and peacfully? I do not think so. Will he give the founder titan to someone else to rebuild the world? I do not think he will. If he give the founder to someone else and wants the new owner to use it as a threat so people do not make the same mistakes, well, where is the freedom? Besides the new owner will need a titan with royal blood in other words he/she will need Historia and her children just like Zeke offered. However one of the reasons why Eren chose this path was that he did not want to sacrifice Historia and her future family. Therefore there is a contradiction. I think Eren wants to be hated. He wants to be hated by whole world not just the otherside of the ocean. He wants to unite these eternal enemies who hate each other to death by simply creating the new enemy who they will hate enough to forget their old enmities. They will work together to kill this enemy, they will understand themselves whiile they are fighting together against this enemy. In the end they will learn from their past mistakes. There was no other way to cool the hearts of both sides because Marleyans and Marley Eldians were right about their anger and of course the Paradise Eldians were right as well. They are same, Eren's mother does not need to die but the millions people crushed by the rumbling did not need to die too or the Marleyans suffering in the past. Nevertheless when their anger changed direction they will see each other freely. Finally we can understand Eren gave up on revenge from his words to Reiner at the place like basement. Also he said he has no other choice to save the world just like Reiner, Bertholdt and Annie. Furthermore I think Eren somehow end the age of titans before he die as his older brother Zeke always wants.
