E S: To everyone shipping Gael and Callie - yes their chemistry is amazing but that is all they have. Chemistry alone won‘t create a stable, healthy and working relationship. Gael has so many issues with himself, he doesn’t know what or who he wants in life. He doesn’t know how to go for the things he wants. He is one big mess in my eyes and he simply needs to get his shit together, and one can do that only alone. We all know Callie is a fighter and she wants to move something in the world, which is amazing. But we also know that her emotions often control her and damage her in many ways. Jamie was always the person, who reminded her of keeping her mind while she was listening to her heart. He was the one giving her the balance, trust, love and safety she needs. And with safety I am not talking about material things. Many hate Jamie because he is white, rich and a corporate lawyer and think these are the reasons why he is not the right one for callie. But think about how he listens, how he values her views and opinions and how he changes his own views as well through her. In the fosters we saw Callie in so many relationships, but none of them was as healthy as the one with Jamie. And I‘ve never seen her as mature and as calm (except the end when she sabotaged everything) as with Jamie. I really hope the thing with Gael is just a fling and she realises in the end that Jamie is the one for her. Because he is the one who always supported her from the very first beginning and at the same time he is the only one showing Callie her limits when she doesn‘t want to see them

Anna Farabee: Jamie is exactly what Callie needs. Someone who cares about her and cares about justice but won’t let himself be arrested or fired from his job because he goes too far. He is much more logical about it and realizes that he can’t win every battle or help every single person in need. Callie needs to let herself be happy and focus on what she can do and not go so overboard she ends up losing her job and her loving boyfriend.

He has a job in law and he cares about social justice and has never failed to be there for Callie when she needed him. He can’t fix every racial injustice in the city and neither can Callie. She always has to do more and help more people which is important but not to the extent that she throws away her personal life and relationships

Daineda Rodney: To be honest, I liked Jamie and Callie together. They bring out parts of each other even though they are the complete opposite. Jamie doesn't take his job personal meanwhile Callie does amd that's why she betrayed his trust. Its something she really needs to work on because she will burn out and possibly step on the wrong toes in her efforts to get justice. The only way for them to survive is for them to have some understanding of what they believe in and come to an agreement of which lines not to cross cuz they crosses lines last season.
