Sure it was terrible what Hawk did in the moment,, but at the same time, it could have given Demetri another opportunity he didn't have before. You never know how something bad could possibly turn into something positive for someone. Not trying to spoil anything here. Yeah Hawk is a big bully this season. He has turned into the same guys who bullied him.

Neither one of them did anything even questionable that would even come close to tarnishing his wedding ring. ANY OTHER SHOW would have turned it into some amoral love triangle bullshit. So, he threw his shirt at them with that same line. Except, in this show he meant nothing but respect to Daniel when he handed him the scroll.

Not very “miyagi do” of them. Miyagi hate fighting. Someone always get hurt. Of course Robby starts a fight. Makes it good. Earns respect. Hawk had Dimitri in the same position Miguel had Robby in. This episode did great with juxtapositions.

Traci Toguchi (Yuna) lives in Hawaii and had started back acting in 2011, so it wasn't hard to find her and Tamlyn Tomita has been acting since KK2, so has Yuki Okumoto (Chozen), so they been around, sure folks don't remember he was in Inception. Both Tamlyn and Yuki love KK, so they were very willing to come back, they have done youtube videos with youtubers about it, before cobra kai was a thing.

Hawk was just jealous because Dimitri was getting more attention due to Dimitri kicking him into that trophy case at the end of Season 2. you can see the jealousy in the last episode when Dimitri is talking to Moon and Yas about the science project and Hawk decides to break it with his soccer ball because he's butthurt about it.

Kevin Light: The flashbacks are SUPER NECESSARY! and the longer re-showing of landmark climaxes and scenes such as the end fight in Karate Kid part 2 with Chozen, showing how AWFUL Chozen was at that time... are all absolutely necessary not only just for the nostalgia for all of us Karate Kid original fans to see again and remember the great times, not only because it is a fun way to add Mr. Miyagi into the series still. ALL of the flashbacks and small clips NEED to be there so young fans of Cobra Kai know where the stories originated from, where the characters are from, WHAT PART DID THEY PLAY THEN, and why this and that happened...very genius in that MANY shows add flashbacks and scenes into a story where its out of place and just random for that stuff for nostalgia purposes alone. Not in this case. They need to give context to these random characters so the younger fans can learn quickly who they are. These writers did it here so well that everything is explained in such a short clip being all it takes. Its awesome. That's why this show has done EXTREMELY WELL, and had/has become EXTREMELY POPULAR! across every age demographic. I only hear bad things from the few people who dont give the show a chance and unfortunately that's understandable to an extent, because SO MANY writers have tried to grab some money by taking a popular franchise, a legendary show or movie and redoing/rebooting it and making it bad which in most cases lets be honest, reboots are mostly very poorly done or "Good" and then they OVER do it with too much CGI. Thus far COBRA KAI has won my heart. 110% All in! I cant wait to see you all react again.

There was a Karate Kid cartoon in the 80s wherein Daniel, Mr. Miyagi and this girl named Taki were traveling the world in search of this powerful Okinawan shrine. That statue is supposed to be the shrine they were looking for on the show. And did it bother anyone else that they made several references to Sato and Yukie passing away in these two episodes and they never told us exactly when either of them died?
