GraphiqueJack: I am not excusing Kandy's behaviour, but I did think of one thing today that I think is important to remember. Ru and the Producers did these queens dirty from the jump with the Porkchop Loading Dock shenanigans, and it's playing out basically like you'd expect. The winners of the first lip syncs have an inflated sense of worth from being 'The Winner's Circle' and the 'Bottom Queens' are feeling insecure and that they need to prove themselves not only to Ru and the judges but to the other queens. Elliott being stuck in the middle is not fitting in to either clique because she was voted out by one group and the other group shuns her. All of this is playing out exactly as you'd expect, with insecurities and egos being triggered at the least little thing, and grudges and alliances are being formed. Some of the queens are showing their asses as a result. Elliott is feeling left out and desperate to fit in (Kandy was slightly right on this, but she needs to examine her and the 'Winner's Circle's' behaviour towards Elliott that causes her to be a try-hard to fit in. She wouldn't have to 'try' if they were actually welcoming to her). Kandy and Tina think they are hot shit when they are both mediocre at best. Denali is trying to prove to the others that she's a threat, even after three fantastic lip syncs. Gottmik is sticking with her friend even when they can see that she is acting a fool. The only ones who are dealing with this maturely are the ones like Olivia, Lala and Joey who are staying out of the shenanigans, and Tamisha and Rosé by calling out Kandy on her bullshit. While I will never excuse Kandy's behaviour, I do think it's important to realize that we may never have seen this side of her had the show not created artificial drama and cliques from the very beginning. Or then again, maybe we would have... she did shade Aja before the competition even started. She could have taken the Vanjie loud but charming girl route, but instead she chose the Eureka/Brita/Silky loud and delusional/bullying route. It's not going to work out well for her. I just wish the fans were mature enough not to kick someone when they are down. Opinions on shows and videos are one thing, sending mean tweets directly to the queens is another. After 13 seasons the fans are still pulling this shit? Grow the fuck up! And this is my issue with the show. They are leaning in too hard on the 'Real Housewives' reality TV bullshit to the detriment of why many of us watch the show, the competition. I want to see a FAIR competition, not a bunch of foolery. I want to see a queen's creativity, not ugly personalities and behaviour. I get that some people live for the drama, and I am fine with it if it's genuine, but I don't want to watch (manufactured) gladiatorial combat, I want to see talent. I want to feel that a winner EARNED her crown, not that the show gave it to her.

MrJohnnyboy754: The self-awareness conversation Kandy had with Elliott was more so about the microaggressions and uncomfortable comments Elliott made to a few queens throughout the competition (Kandy’s talked about it in an IG live a few weeks ago and on Twitter) .Thats why that part of the conversation doesn’t really make sense, especially since Denali & Olivia were cosigning what Kandy was saying to her — I think production cut it out so they could reinforce Elliott’s underdog/outcast narrative and not justify why the queens seem so hostile toward her.

SM's Wifi Router: I don't understand what's wrong with Kandy saying Symone is her biggest competition. Of course she is. She has the most wins. And that isn't being dismissive because it means that everyone is still competition but Symone is the biggest one. If she said "Symone is my only competition", that would've been dismissive. Now Kandy was doing too much during untucked but the hate she is getting online is too much as well. Imagine if this show had a social media presence in the earlier seasons, I can't imagine the hate the queens would get every time there was an argument or even when queens are being shady to one another.

Ashley Jones: I preferred Utica’s last look to Gottmik’s. Looking at it through the fashion school lens Utica’s look is a senior year project while Gottmik’s feels like sophomore year. There’s something unresolved about Gottmik’s look. I feel like lead way was given because the garment is on a skinny body so it looks “modelesque. If that garment was on A queen Kandy’s size, I doubt it would be received as well.

Also, is it just me, or has Tina Burner been given very little screen time? At the start of the season I was most excited for Kandy. She is a great queen but she is messy and has delusions of grandeur. I like drama but I hope the tension does not ruin the season. This felt real (unlike other beans on previous seasons) and neither party needs this kind of stress - nor does the rest of the cast. Also, let’s hope the “fandom” doesn’t start sending hate to whichever queen they disagree with. There is never an excuse to send hate - period.

Her words makes me think she Knowingly created an alliance with two strong white queens and threatened violence against a black queen as she thought the fans would also come from Tamisha as they did with Kennedy et al. I love all the girls on this cast but what was said needed to be said. This was a great episode overall. Utica definitely should have won. The final outfit should have the highest points over the ones that were brought.

You can’t argue, deny and try to invalidate someone else’s feelings. That’s not how this works. Tamisha had every right to call Kandy arrogant, because that is how Kandy is coming off to Tamisha, be it intentional or not. Kandy just isn’t mature enough to understand that how you intent to act isnt always how it’s perceived. Intentions matter, yes.
