Ryan Kirby: I think f2p players' best hope is to get zookas and rifleman so you simply have more useable troops. If supercell won't give us troop health and opts for defensive metas, then stock up on as many useable troops as you can.

Toastedbread: I don’t have instant training and I ´m curently stuck at rank 12. I can’t get any chests and I have to wait an insane amount of time between each attack. My troops seem to recharge way faster sometimes but I can’t replicate it reliably. Does somebody know the trick?

Rock: The idea was OK, start with 4 of 6 chests and then they have to go and ruin it by not testing and now all I get is -1 of 6 chests and it appears I'am not the only one and as of 12:30pm AEST still not bug fix so no plat today.

Rock: I'm glad it wasn't just me who had a rough time collection chest's, 4 chest's = 2 hrs. However I did manage to push from lvl 12 -> 14. Just about to start collecting chests again so will be headed for Brick 1st then back for smoke. Got savaged by Smoked Heavies last night.

tony card: I parked last season on day two, the 3:58 meta just should not be allowed to happen, my boosted blue statues expired, my IT expired, my patience with stupid cell expired, mayday mayday is about right, the ship is sinking! As a maxed mainbase and long term boom beach player, the QOL update came just at the right time, any other game has weekly bug fixes, after waiting for years to see an update to improve gameplay, they make it so bad I stop playing! QOL is much better now, no more frustration at how the hell they can push the pay to play and ruin what used to be a fun game at the same time! Pity we cannot ask for a refund, Just want to say thanks for your content chicken and good luck, hope that eventually they get someone on the dev team that doesn't think that there is no point in fixing stuff if people are still spending money! topcat68 out

Caldeer: i like the 2 engine idea so will do that on my main account until I can afford to go straight to brick - on my non IT account i went to 3 ER which was a mistake because I've got the sky shield and can get one attack done then run out of troops so that is going to be so painful (dropping down and putting an engine out in front seems to be the strategy there)

David Mummery: Seems to be a bug when you’re collecting chest. When I started out this morning it showed 4/6 to begin with. I grabbed my four chests and then when I went this afternoon to collect my next, chest, it went -1 of 6. I was also unable to collect the chest at all😅. I reported the bug.

Kevin Lenz: Thanks for the warning chicken👍🏻 but unfortunately, I’m still caught in no ER hell. People like to say “worst season ever“ and I’m not usually one to say that, but this is THE WORST start ever me. I’m 6 keys away from getting Art but I have only been able to get 2 ERs in 18 battles 😖😖. I have moved my engine rooms upfront with no defenses so I can just lose my way into some easy battles. So far not working. 😂

Atomosphere: If I stay in 2ER it is hell. If I go to 3 ER, it is hell. This season is an awful start. I can't collect any chests in 2 as I get zero ERs an attack even with Zookas. I dont even feel good collecting chests as nothing will improve my ability to collect them. Just stuck in hell waiting to bypass worse hell.

Garret Wood: Started late and tried staying at 2 engines like you suggest. No flares. Heavies just die immediately. This is the absolute worst start to a season. It's like they are determined to kill the game.

Bill Coleman: This is incredibly boring. I came in just under stone. Only thing to do was max defenses with 2 ER's. People who started with more keys have as strong defenses but also have zookas. Those bases make me fizzle out and my strong base is easily defeated by those players. If you'd stayed at 2 ER's for a while you'd be winning most of your matches. Those of us who were only level 18 or 19 in the last season don't have a chance. I've been playing Boom Beach for many years and was not impressed by Warships when it first came out. I've been trying to be successful for the past year or so but now I realize it is so stacked against anyone who didn't make it to Diamond or Legendary the previous season it's really not fun. I like a challenge and don't mind losing in a fair game. But when I keep starting out with a very low probability of success because I'm handicapped based on the previous season; screw Warships and maybe screw Boom Beach as well. There's getting to be very few challenges in rhe game for anyone at my level. I have so much stuff that there's nothing to collect. I clear everything in the lagoon daily but the way the algorithm works is I rarely gain VP's.

Philip Botha: SS is stuffing warships up. How do you play without IT?? Tried to stay 2 but you cant get an engine there as well. Might as well give this up. Can do a few atts per day and hope for 1 engine per att. Ridiculous

Jonathan Smith: One of the most frustrating starts to a season ever. Who had the bright idea to weight this so heavy early on to defence. Most attacks I can’t even clear one ER. Poor tech tree this!

Alex B: So I kept the grind going this morning and was able to get rank 14 chest which allowed me to grab Brick. With her I was able to make it to rank 15 so I'm pretty happy with that. Don't get me wrong it's a frustrating play experience ATM but I'm just glad I was able to make rank 15 the opening morning. I wouldn't say zookas are a waste, I find them to be pretty helpful backing up the heavies taking the beating in the front
