Fucking shitmode. Not only do you need less skill even as a hitscan now but people who dont know how to shoot will think they rule holy crap. @rodschach182: Being playing OW since the og release back on 2016. The only reason I bought a PC. This was the goty that year. Even with the broken promises and weird changes I kept playing it. But this is too much. As someone said, this is more arca-dy. You basically no need aim anymore. No need to look for health packs. You don't need positioning anymore since anyone can jump on you and shoot anywhere and kill you. The magic of overwatch WAS that it was easy to play, but hard to master. Now this is is just a mess. RIP OW, after almost 8 years you are the game I played the most. On the bright side I will be able to start playing other games :)

Im sry but every time I see an update to this game it looks closer and closer to the game I currently play. Its sad to see the current state of ow2....I thought it was different and unique, but now its looking worse and worse everytime i see it. Prob gonna get some flack for this comment but eh who cares. Paladins has had anti heals forever ago, and has managed to balance it out very nicely, with talents and card yatems for diversity. If you ever feel like ow2 isnt working out rn, i highly suggust paladins, as Its the closeat thing, and is honestly more balanced as of the current time of this video/comment.

@heimsuchen: this season looks like the game "Paladins" -bigger hitboxes -reduce received healing (Cauterize, that's what they called in Paladins but cauterize applied to all heroes in Paladins. Also, Cauterize effect in paladins up to 90% or 99% i don't remember) -healing out of combat I stopped playing both Paladins and Ow.

You could even hit people around corners because the collision hitbox is a dot, but the damage hitbox is bigger. If it is actually bigger, it’s not by a lot

@slothsarecool: You have to consider that it’s the projectile, not the crosshair, many of those projectiles have pretty big effects, but I agree it looks ridiculous for hitscan and small projectiles 😅.. competitive overwatch spectating is going to look real buggy

@indigohue9628: I can't believe I'm saying this as a habitual support sympathizer, but... I actually feel bad for Tracers. Come on now, what in the world are those hitboxes??? _Especially_ for Mercy. I love Mercy, but her kit is full on mobility. You sacrifice your own ability to do damage by fully supporting your team and _hoping_ they do their part. It's annoying as shit dealing with flankers, but good Mercy's hardly let their feet even touch the ground depending on the map. What is this kids glove stuff? It doesn't feel fair at all. And at the end of the day it's a *Tracer.* Her one job is to go after the squishies. It's nothing personal. Everyone in the game is getting their health fucking boosted for whatever reason, so unless everyone else is at a literal 1 hp, they're gonna go after the supports. Either get gud or swap, that used to be this game's core message. But now we're messing around with hitboxes this inaccurate? Like Jay said, this is a skill-based game; this hitbox patch is only rewarding mediocrity and punishing higher-skilled players.

@Dan-zp4tv: I haven't touched overwatch in years, since Brigette when I decided to wait for it to get better and I just never came back so I decided to take a look... what happened? How did they do this to one of the most fun games I'd ever played. It almost seems like they intentionally made the game worse every chance they got.

@bananabread4075: Yeah I can admit that a lot of experimenting they want to do is way too many options all at once but I do think they will probably go back on the projectile sizes mainly because it seems like people are getting hit more often but not hitting shots that much more often like the Divide between the good and the bad has just become greater I don't know if that's what they're going for I feel like that's what everyone talks about is having a more balanced amount of people in every rank but is there goal was to make it easier for people to hit their shots it's only easier for the people that are already good
