She did a lot of damage though, but sometimes it is complicated especially when you start to like something and it is developing your personality but you forget to draw a line, and you go to far. I mean that newspaper is literally her alter ego and she used that sass on colin shredded his ego into pieces. LOL

@SFO34: I’m not excited for this season at all and don’t appreciate that they skipped Benedict’s story. I liked this couple in the books but show Penelope’s character is hard to take and Colin’s isn’t any better. Hopefully whichever couple they do after them will be better and come sooner rather than later. But it’s nice that a lot of show Penelope fans seem excited with what they’ve released about this season so far. Everyone deserves to have their favorite character’s season live up to expectations.

I really didn't get why people were hating on him before, coz ya know, it was just, "Hey, she's my friend, god no, I'd never get with her!" If someone asked if I'd ever date my bestie, I'd be like, "He is like my brother, I will vomit at the mere thought of that." But the intention doesn't matter here coz when you say something like that in a society like this, how it comes across and the effects it has are different.

@baphonai: I have never understood the love for Penelope's character. She was always a woman with an inferiority complex, selfish, gossipy, misogynist, liar, hypocrite, manipulative and all because of her low self-esteem. Everyone blames Colin for having treated her ''badly'' and that now he must earn her love, but Colin didn't love her as a wife, never, she was his friend. At what point did he delude her or anything like that? She deluded herself alone under her altered perception of reality, thinking Colin wanted something with her when he always treated her as a kind man because she was his friend and he loved her as such, nothing more. Of all Bridgerton's stories, this is the one with the worst character development, plot and denouement in terms of the rather forced ''romance'' between Colin and Penelope, because everything is done to satisfy the illusions of girls exactly like Penelope: horrible human beings with envy towards those who have what they wish they had. Never forget what she did to Marina, to Daph, to the Sharma's, to her own ''best friend'' and all her family, among all the shit she did.

Then Anthony kept playing around with Kate and Edwina, doing the same hot and cold game Colin went after Marina then dropped her then went after her when she had moved on. He keeps Penny as some sort of ego stroker; Colin is garbage. He's that guy who has a girl who understands him and will breadcrumb her but never date her because "she's not the type of woman he sees himself with or the type of woman who would be desired by his friend group" Garbage man

It’s so fitting because Penelope says that she herself is a “laughing stock”, a “joke” essentially. I just love that small detail

@elrom250: I love so much Nicola's acting! In the first 2 seasons, she played an innocent young girl but here she is all woman (the tone, the look in the eyes). So nice that the directors didn't make her lose weight (like in the books) but managed to show how a woman's attaction can grow just by changing her attitude toward herself. They emphazise character, not body!
