Also (including the first season of this version), this is the fourth series to be made based of the novels. The original series was actually going to be on The WB back in 2006 before it shut down.

Mainly because it was much more horrorish then the original series and also because it had many references to other movies. I hope the new season will keep the same level of production. Plus I am sooo mad that the writers didn't listen to fans and got Imogen and tabby together for S2 instead they went ahead an introduced 3 new love interests to the show.
