@Mat-hr1dg: What strikes me the most is how this, in a vacuum, would have looked absolutely gorgeous and great and yet the movies show such a love for detail, composition, costumes and overall imagery that it looks almost cheap in comparison while not at all being cheap. That speaks volumes for Denis Villeneuve and his crew in all departments! We had years and years of shows looking more refined and grown up than the big theatre movies and it took Dune to reverse that. I hope Hollywood takes notes but I doubt it.

This is HBO succling on the bosom of success of those films and presenting us with some low quality, prequel , spin off garbage in the form of a series which nobody asked for.
