@julie91295: It ended too quick tbh. Idk there wasn’t enough comfort to Pen for my liking in the end. It felt like all talk from Colin and groveling for forgiveness from Pen. I needed like two more episodes diving more into their dynamic and explore their place in the relationship. It felt like tension happened and then they just talk through the ending instead of actually showing anything. All of the ending is just Pen making up for her mistakes and own her identity while Colin making her feel more guilty and not supportive after years of paying her dust before. I get his reasons but he doesn’t really turn around until it’s all over with and basically just whoops my bad let me tell you what i learn and just believe me. Like when i said I’ll spend the rest of my life making up for the years i didn’t notice you and then immediately kick rocks at the first obstacle we run into as a couple. To jsut use dialogues to resolve it all and w all should feel happy and believe it was hard for me to be convinced. There’s not enough time and proper actions for him to SHOW he’s all in and respect her. Their places in the relationship didn’t feel balance through that ending. They end where they started w her constantly feeling like she had to make him feel secure and loved over and over and feel undeserving while he resolves his feelings w her and kinda accept the relationship and who she is. The angst was built and got you invested but the pay off wasn’t worth it and I just felt shortchanged w Coli

Or a ninth season with all the brothers together and their respective partners, otherwise it will feel like a series without details, only with the basics and filler facts. Hopefully for the next season they consider the essence of the series and not just add things for the sake of it.

That’s why they hyped it up so much saying it would be super spicy. They had no idea how much was going to be cut off the final version. And now they are doing damage control because of contract obligations. I am almost 100% certain of it.

@2xcrzkxk: In the book, when Cressida pretends she's Lady Whistledown it isn't the same as seeing the situation in the flesh, with Penelope having a panic attack & facing the music with Colin & Eloise. Just the sheer emotional ludicrous drama of it all really physically hits you actually watching it. Also, in the books I hated Cressida, but you have to love her a bit watching her, she seems like a real person, trapped by her circumstances into being a little manipulative & mean just like Penelope's mother. Such a good scene.

Therefore, the actors see a finished piece brought from the floor, so to speak at premieres...this is why some actors seat in the back of the cinema or family do not recognize them in the cinema or theatre...sorry to spoil some illusions😮

And every actor is so thoughtful about their own character’s motivations and so complimentary about each other’s performances. Love it a lot.

BUT if there's one thing that this season got right is the Featherington women, all of them, they're absolutely brilliant and to think we might not get them in future seasons is sooo devastating 😭
