@therealeverton: I totally get Colton's point. I dont see it as nbad writing, though. They had time to deal with only so much, and dealing with Starlight's 100% understandable POV was a bigger priority than doing both sides, or Hughie. Knowing a thing logically (ehich is why they get back together so quickly) and knowing/feeling that emotioknallt are not the same thing and often you just need to shout and rage to get to the other side. Almost as much at yourself as herself as Hughie. As much as he wasn't "to blame" the fact is sex was used as a weapon against Hughie, and he did keep "falling for it." I do wondewr if the consecutive sexual assaults (although the dungeon assault is avery mixed sittuation as his assaulter(s) thought they were having consensual sexual activity and Ashley was genuinely concerned when she thought she was going too far, but reasssured he had a safe word and wasn't using it.) Will come into play next time.

@h-dawg969: I loved how good Erin moriarty’s acting was in this episode. She played the shifter Annie so good. They wrote in a more physical form of performance which she was able to really dig into. This was great as she needed some physicality after she destroyed any possibility of facial expression. I thought she was wicked, especially in the scene in the dark room where original Annie was chained up.

And while political messaging has been a major part of the show since the beginning, I just feel they went way too far this time. Our own real-world America is divided. Half the people I know think the world will end if Biden is reelected. The other half thinks it will end if Trump is. Violence is becoming normal, and the divide has never been larger. We're in a dark, messed up time and getting daily reminders of it doesn't help. This show (during an election year no less), going out of its way to during shadow real-world events and spending the entire season in the slums of the political theater, has been exhausting. From divisive murder trials, news propoganda, presidential assassination attempts, mass riots, corporate takeovers, January 6th, election fraud, political conspiracies, puppet states, and martial law its all been way too much. Way too close to home. It comes across in poor taste in an election year and fundamentally misunderstands why we are watching the show: to escape reality, not delve deeper into it
