@laststand2023: theories - gen v season 2, cate and sam will turn into a new leaf and so at the end of the boys season 4 they were actually helping frenchie and kimiko - neuman might be alive, her powers is blood related so maybe she also have some healing properties, pretended to be dead in order to keep her daughter safe - the writers are playing with us when it comes to ryan being good or bad, remember at episode 7 he made butcher proud and now with episode 8 he made butcher lose faith, but i think in the end he will end up being good because of the influence of her mother and there are scenes in episode 8 that teases us with ryan vs HL - sage might be poisoning/weakening homelander through firecracker's milk -season 5 might start with starlight looking for queen maeve eventually teaming up with a-train and the gen v casts then eventually go against homelander and his troops of bad heroes, while sister sage setting everything in order to kill homelander simply as a challenge to herself. - HL teary eyes as he look into soldier boy might simply because he noticed that soldier boy is not aging like him - butcher might end up using his deadly virus to himself

@romannawrat4327: Season 4 was pretty poor and thef finale was the pinnacle of it. Frenchie and Kimikos story going from depressed to lovebirds out of the blue. A Train just dissapeared. Starlight struggled with her powers only to regain them out of the blue and learn to fly on the spot. Butcher becoming the 'parasite' and Sage planed it all - you could see that from a mile away. Sigh. Shame, I really though they'd bounce back after S3 but but they went downhill hard.

@cards4life50: This is one of my favorite shows but I have to be real, this season was so disappointing overall. Like what really happened this season other than minor character building? One of the only shows I like that had improved each season and it sucks that I can’t say that anymore. Don’t get me wrong it was still a good season, I just expected more. I at least thought Homelander would kill the president this season and give us a crazy season finale. The finale was really good I just can’t stop feeling like they should’ve gave us a lot more than what they did this season. The badass characters in this show is what makes it stand out, but instead they focus too much on these politicians that no one cares about and it really made this season boring to me.

@codyjohns6931: I know this stupid but i was happy during the scene with butcher ryan and grace that the idea was finally put on the table that ryans the only one who can stop homelander My prediction next season ryan will be hesitant to bring up the rape and the airplane for a few episodes, then on a bad day ryan finally asks him and HL semi snaps amd says yeah its true and basically says humans are toys were gods we do what we want and tries to justify it, and by the last 2 episodes ryan either joins the boys or makes up his mind that good ole dad needs to go All bets are off for the last season, and the boys need all hands on deck, ashley and A-Train are coming back to end it before they both probably die

@TheOneTrueClovehitch: Honestly, I didn’t like the majority of this season. It leaned too heavily into the real life political parallels. Some of which I think they were obviously biased with. The finale was incredible though. It’s everything I hoped for. The only thing I wanted in the finale I didn’t see was A-train. Then again I’ve grown to love him, so…it’s probably for the best he wasn’t in this episode. I hope he survives.

@sunsetman22: honestly, pure chills. this season really pulled the rug from under the audience. started slow, the new additions to the cast were great, but it wasn't fully there yet. this finale though? like The Dude's rug, really tied it all together. they even took a page out of The Batman's playbook and threw some Nirvana in there, just for good measure. looking forward to Gen V season 2!
