She had mentioned that the regimen causes an enlarged heart "just a little bit". I think she either took too much on purpose to make Homelander happy or someone {Sage} changed something to make her heart get bigger, faster. Can't wait to see what it actually is tho

Then suddenly she’s wearing the suit, smiling, and wants to get down? Especially after the day they had the first time around? Hughie had his own stuff going on so I’m sure a moment of peace with his girlfriend was what he wanted more than anything in these stressful times, but it was definitely unrealistic and he probably would’ve noticed sooner had his head been in the game.

@Gunfighter150: The actress for Sage I hope to see her in more roles in the future. Particularly the villainous ones. Throughout the whole season her character intrigued me and I feel like while she helped Homelander that she is still plotting on his downfall and this scene just established her as the most dangerous character on the show. She essentially manipulated Homelander into becoming reliant on her and not questioning her plans or advice. That makes her operate more freely since seeing how stressed, relieved, and near an emotional breakdown Homelander was in that scene. I wouldn’t be surprised if Homelander orders the new president to give Sage top clearance with the order to follow her lead and with the theory that she is playing the long game to betray Homelander and kill him. I’m betting she is making herself to be the person to gain the biggest rewards by the finale if she survives.
