As a huge fan of the game, i admired how close they were able to recreate it but as the plot held literally no surprises, it didnt really excite. @IamDakotaaaa: This show is honestly overrated and a let down. Definitely Not as good as the game.. which is a silly expectation to have, but still, they’ve really dumbed down the writing and have made it as bland as possible- and also very rushed..and I’m not enjoying how the writers are going their own way with a lot of things. we also barely even got to see any infected in season one, there are so many scenes where they could’ve added infected to build the tension, but they didn’t. They missed very important moments that were in the game but just didn’t Decide to add them in the show. I have a strong feeling they’re going to ruin it just like the writers ruined the walking dead by not going by the comics. Also- they could’ve done a lot better with the cast. Especially Ellie…😐

@kkjhn41: So it appears they have taken the scene from Part 1 where Raiders attack the dam (remember in Part 1 we never saw Jackson, everything that took place at Jackson in the show was at the dam in the game). This would play into Tommy not wanting to take people from Jackson to go after Abby and her crew because it would leave Jackson vulnerable to attack. This just drives home his point and explains why he doesn't go running out looking for revenge for Joel.
