LA1504: If you ever saw the Clone Wars you would know Mandalorians take off their helmets frequently unless they are on duty or about to fight, althought I read the Death Watch or something which was a seperate cult of the Mandalorians that don't take off their helmets, the Mandalorians we saw in the show so far are probably the remains of the cult that follow that religion or they simply live by that order so no one knows who they are and what they look like to prevent them from extinction and being hunted by the empire's remains.

Nicholas Hatch: We know Mandalorians are a clan based society . . . so possibly different clans do have different rules . . . that would explain why some Mandalorians do take off their helmets.

He could have a real identity crisis, plus the factor of deciding what he believes in so that he can decide how to raise his kid. I wonder if he even knows his clan's understanding of the way wasn't common to all Mandalorians? It seems like his group was basically the Hissidic Jews or the Amish of Mandalore.
