Just kinda sat there after the ep finished thinking: "wow". Arcane really is the best animated series. We're lucky to still have competent writers still in the world. @ethankoh6851: Woah this is a masterclass of writing role subversion. Of course, there's the main event of setting off a hex-tech explosion killing Vander, but it's even in the minute details. In the watercolour scene, Jinx's spray paint is rose coloured (just like Vi's hair) while Isha's paint is blue (like Jinx's hair). On the topic of hair, Isha's hat falls of when she draws Jinx's pistol, revealing her blue hair which was shown being dyed by Jinx. There was even a call back to their initial meeting schene with Isha's final gestures. Arcane's writers are next level 🙏

Like, it was right there at the beginning for us all to see. Blink and you miss it. EDIT: I went back and looked at all the intros for what shows after Jinx fires her finger gun: episode 4, there's an image of Silco. Episode 5, it's the mural of Jinx. Episode 6, it's Isha.

@koii319: I love the parallel between Jinx's imaginary drawings and Isha's. Jinx's drawings are scribbles and faces of monsters pasted onto her loved ones because of the her trauma. Meanwhile inside Isha's mind are happy memories of her and Jinx in a neat, colourful drawing-style. Jinx may not have had a good sibling relationship but she gave Isha happiness as a sister figure (imo). The message is that even people who experienced so much pain can still make someone else's life better and that's beautiful.
