@beccacarey3336: In my head, which is probably wrong, but i see the timeline as: Silco and Vander met in the mines, became buddies for the revolution. Silco was more strategic and Vander was more action. Before Vi and Powder were born, they had a big argument over Silco's passiveness and it caused Vander to lose it and try to drown Silco. (I let a weak man die/Vander had no beard in flashback.) They begrudgingly teamed up together for the bridge incident after years, probably a decade, where Silco caused the enforcers to become all-out murderous because he threw the first projectile. This caused the death of Felicia and Connol, and then that's when Vander finally realised that there were better ways. (Vander had grown his beard.) This is the only way I could see Silco not being attached to Vi and Powder at any point throughout their childhood, but also why when he saw Powder defenceless, he took her in.

@nuncatu: To be honest, I liked it more when the girls where strangers to the two. Their adopting would have had much more weight. It was this: We are poor, but we stick together and no one is left behind. My brothers child is my child, even when no one is related by blood. The thought of a strong community with their heart on the right spot. Now it's like, yeah sure they adopted basically family members. I loved the first season, but I find the second one somehow shallow. It would have been a perfect opportunity to tell a story on how can you rise from poverty by not having a single leader. No. They just say "we watch it burn down." Why? What? Maybe it will change, but there was already to much time wasted on not continue a smart rebel story.

@spiritofchaos58: This scene has me in tears, in part because of how it uses Mylo's words from season 1. So much of Mylo's legacy has been the mean things he said, ie calling Powder a jinx. The fact that something kind he said for once, "he's our father too", is being brought up feels like a moment of healing from the past. Like maybe everyone can move past the pain and trauma and see the good that exists. ...aaand then the rest of act 2 happened. Ooops.

Vi lost her sister in the sense that she was no longer the bright eyed little girl with big ideas, jinx lost her big sister and was survival mode, and Vander lost his humanity and missed out on hos two girls. They've all collectively lost each other and themselves. But in this moment they found all of it back.

Vi is finally starting to see that Jinx didn't "kill" Powder, Powder and Jinx have always been the same person - her little sister.

Through so much grief, guilt, anger and suffering, all these poor, broken people want is to be a family again. Everything else that has happened melts away, because in this moment at least, they've found each other again, nothing else matters. No matter what else follows, how much more pain and heartbreak they'll endure, that they had this moment together means everything.

@ZeusTheMoose685: Wow, I'm just speechless. This moment was pure catharsis for all of them and that's what made watching it so amazingly heart wrenching! It's just incredible how meaningful this scene is with the emotional weight behind it. With all the sadness and trauma that Vi and Jinx carry around, like the weight of the world crushing them, when they get to embrace as a family again, all the walls just come down. The anger, fear, guilt, it's all swept aside when Vi says to Jinx "What are you waiting for? He's your dad too." ,which lol, I'm sure is the moment where everyone lost their shit haha I also feel like she's assuring her here, like the sub text of this reads "It's okay. Whatever you think, we're not angry and this is what's important, we have an unconditional love for you. Now come be with us." So by her reaching out, to Vander as well as Jinx, they all got to convey what they needed to each other in such a beautiful way. This was so refreshing to see as a viewer, just so pure and honest. It's sorta like what Jinx said about a do-over, another chance to help and set things right. I feel like this is the real point they can begin to heal from, especially for Jinx. After learning how broken her sister was since their separation, Vi in her heart knows how much she needed this. It's gonna allow her to process all the grief for the first time in a healthy way, and give her the chance to move on, as a whole person rather than a fractured one. This show is just so special it's actually unbelievable. Thanks for reading this if you made it here 😁 ❤

@koutroubasathanasios7322: The story is really good. But i am so fed up with the trope of building up only to break down, i feel like every single show does that nowadays. Like, is it really that boring to let the good feeling win for once ?

@mstgelais_1: The only narrative flaw of season 2 so far is the fact that Silco and Vander knew the girls' mother. I find that nebulous... Clearly, this was not planned that way in season 1. We see in season 2 that Vi knew Vander before her parents died. However, in a scene from season 1, the one on the bridge where their parents die, we see that Vi is scared when she sees Vander. And in another moment at the end of episode 3 of season 1, Silco literally says "hello little girl" with a hesitant tone, not "hello Powder." Clearly, I think they invented this during the writing of season 2, without considering that it gives the impression that the world of Arcane is nothing more than a small village with 20 inhabitants who all knew each other when they were younger. But as I said, this is the only flaw for me. It is a magnificent work and a masterpiece. But this small flaw makes season 1 a little less good, in my opinion... If anyone has clarification and explanations about this, or arguments that would help me see more clearly, please do so. I want to love this part of season 1 again, haha. I just want to be wrong.

@The_Isaiahnator: The line at 0:11 is an exact reference to how Powder's actions in Episode 3 of Season 1 was a decision she had to live with for the rest of her life. And the word "Jinx" personifies that decision. At 0:40, just as Felicia said they'd figure this "Zaun thing" out, a lock of hair falls down her face, which is a visual reference to Jinx's appearance. And from her scrappy, chaotic personality to her rebellious attacks against Piltover, Jinx is, in fact, the personification of Zaun, so she's the one who's likely to figure this "Zaun thing" out where her two fathers failed. Despite the child Felicia is talking about is going to be Vi, based on the clues in this scene, I think Jinx more accurately reflects the type of person she had in mind. Also worth noting is that Vander proposes the name Violet at 1:12, which is a reference to how strongly Vi takes after him.

And for the while, had a granddaughter. I’m my opinion, I see Isha as being Jinx’s adopted daughter than a little sister, something about their interaction together felt more mother-daughter, considering there is a heavy parental theme throughout the series.
