And now Robby fans expect him to have the spotlight in p3 too? Yeah no. Not happening. The claims leaks may be fake: Don’t be so naive to believe this. Writers job is to keep leaks from spreading so of course they won’t encourage that they are true. However if we look back for the leaks given to part 2 , such as : Terry silver buying iron dragons, kwon dying on his own knife, Johnny saving kreese, axel and sam, Kenny returning to the sekai taikai, (refer to the channel explain verse to see the leaks before p2 came out) 99% of them were true. The claim that “Robby deserves it more than Miguel, Miguel can go to college” Robby fans need to understand that this is a karate show not a college show where grades count. There are fans waiting to see Miguel yet to take the spotlight in s6, who are diehard fans of him. If you really think Robby is gonna win the captains round, beat kwon while Miguel couldn’t at that point in time, and now win the sekai taikai too, sorry but the writers aren’t that stupid. Now let’s look at all the leaks for part 3. Miguel with the captains headband in a cobra Kai gi , sensei Lawrence vs sensei wolf sekai taikai leaderboard, Robby with a broken or injured leg and crutches, axel 11 Robby 6 leaderboard on the semi final, one of the writers stating that Miguel and axel rivalry will continue, Johnny saving kreese in p2 foreshadows kreese giving ck back to Johnny, all the miyagi dos in cobra Kai gis. Now argue all you want how “writers might be throwing fans off” but I highly doubt every single thing I just stated is fake , highly doubt any is fake. Especially the screen of sensei Lawrence cobra Kai vs sensei wolf iron dragons which was slightly shown in a selfie video of the actress who played Devon Lee. Now the argument from Robby fans where Miguel being cobra Kai and everything else might be some nightmare sequence: That’s just beyond dumb. Why would Daniel dream of sensei Lawrence fighting sensei wolf in a cobra Kai gi. And Miguel as a captain. And Robby’s leg being broken. That’s a real stupid prediction which is just some delusion made by Robby fans. For the people who want the sekai taikai to discontinue, one word, NO. Fans want the grand finale to be action packed not some aftermath. So just give up on that thought. I think I covered everything

@nostaglic: Good thorough video. The Next Karate Kid did not fully explore Miyagi's past other than learning Miyagi fought along side Julie Pierce's late grandfather. The return of Julie Pierce can then reveal that she learned more of Miyagi's past that Daniel never knew. Perhaps even imply she learned the numbing pressure point techniques.

Furthermore, in the Part 3 sneak peek, it was Robby we saw fighting Axel, and landing a shot, to boot. Do I think Miguel will play a part in Robby taking on Axel? Yeah, he could have a behind the scenes role, not unlike when he inspired Robby with the “We need a leader” speech.

At least for me, this is the best ending.

@RoTeNdO: It's funny that there are people trying to hard to have Julie make an appearance. One this you overlooked is that has had MORE training that Daniel LaRusso. If you were to rewatch The Next Karate Kid, you'll learn that Julie was actually taught Karate from her father, who learned it from his father, who learned it from Mr. Miyagi. She has been training from a little girl up until her father passed away and in the movie they don't tell you when exactly that was. Miyagi recognized the tiger jump she did onto the Taxi cab because he taught it to her grandfather. While visiting Boston, he Juli some lessons, sure, but let's not go overboard and claim that she's his heir. Daniel continued to train with Miyagi until his death. I think it's fair to say that because he's been living and training with him for so many years, he would know more than Julie Pierce and she doesn't seem the be the kind to practice on her own afterwards. She definitely didn't continue to practice after her parents died, which is quite understandable, but do you really think she'd continue after the bullies left her alone? There's just no need. She wasn't a driven individual. She was still trying to figure out her life and he tells her life without ambition is like boat on sand or something like that. She didn't care about school or her grades. What information would she be able to provide to Daniel other than she was taught Miyagi-Do from her father and a few lessons from Miyagi himself when he went to visit for the ceremony and stayed with her for a few weeks. She mostly spent time learning to balance and meditate at the temple. I honestly don't see the value in her return in the series. There's just no connection between her and Cobra Kai, period, and I think that's what people are missing out on. Everyone else who had a return camero made sense as they were familiar with Kreese, Silver, and Cobra Kai.
