ARCANE Season 2 Episodes 7, 8 & 9 Ending Explained

@BrainPilot: What did you think of the ending of Arcane Season 2? Let me know your thoughts in the comments!Написать
@Bramak_: I hope they make a Jinx spin-off.
@MelindaSordinoIsLiterallyMe: Watching everything front to back, I really don't know how to feel about S2. I liked A LOT, the clever references to S1 (Jinx sitting on Silco's desk exactly like she used to, Vi and Jinx shoulder to shoulder like the Firelight attack in Episode 9), the clever references within the season (Officer RedheadLesboTraitor being the first one to pounce her chest, foreshadowing her betrayal), the production quality is insane from the revamped intro to the much more and better fight scenes to the different art styles to the music and it did have a lot of emotionally impactful scenes, I almost cried more than in S1, like Jinx talking to Silco's chair about Isha and what she gave to her (even though Isha otherwise feels forced) or Jinx's almost-death at the hands of Vi. But as someone who knows zero lore outside Arcane S1, I became confused very quickly and the Series became a mess and a bit to out there with every passing episode. There's also some minor cringe like the "Jinxers" and Jinx's suicide scene, which could have been a lot more impactful hadn't they kind of mocked it, which I find inappropriate. I'm also missing Silco.
@geigergeno8455: Anyone else play destiny 2: The Final Shape and think this is something similar in a way
@Okada一IZŌ: the ending kinda meh
@NimaFrost: Kinda disappointing ngl, last episode was very mid, let's fix everything with the power of the friendship...
@NonHuman69: What to say ep6 was magnificent sad to see the little one die, and then this last episode I leave touched. Tears have leaved my body.
@_BlackwhiteWings_: If I had to list up the top three things that I found to be missing, It'd be: 1. Blitzcrank. He's such an important character in Viktor's lore, idk why they just left him out. He also would've made a great additional weapon for the noxians. 2. A funeral for Isha. We know she's dead, but nobody ever saw her body (and we all know arcane isn't shy about showing kids die) so it just felt like a lot was missing here. It took away some of the impact of Jinx's mourning for me. 3. Rio. Idk why, but seeing her again in Singed's lab in act 2 of season 1 just made me expect that there would be more of her. It would've made a lot of sense too, since Viktor and Singed were pretty close this act, and Viktor's power was literally to heal, but that's just a personal opinion or mine.. Regardless of what happened, it was a good ending, although imo a little too rushed. What rlly made me sad were just the expectations and hopes I had until the end that didn't really come true, especially the Isha funeral. They built an entire plot around her, just to completely leave her away after her death, and not even mention her, which is something that usually never happens in arcane.
@fatalshore5068: So fucking good.
@TheeTiivs: 8 was the best episode for me mainly because the scene where Viktor goes thru metamorphosis is so powerful
@geekyhairybestia6152: Was just so rushed, seasonal arcs in moments and payoffs that where never truly earned. Still my favourite show in so many ways and my hopes for future are strong, but the need to seriously break away from Netflix, as even though this show was such a hit and phenom as the first season and time to make to then did not pay off to their insane standards and their model of 2 seasons limit 90% of time clearly was reason for all these issues. NETFLIX although clear industry leader is where shows especially Animation go to die owning to this and lack of any true advertising. Stand Alone still 9/10 but so much waisted protentional brought about by the current age of media. Hopefully Riot will see this and branch off into the winder Universe as originally planned still.
@PianoMatn: no way Jinx survived bc Warwick held her tight so she couldnt escape that easily before the grenade exploded. yes, there is a purple line coming from the explosion but it was from the explosion itself, not jinx. she is dead. the end.
@wicowan: I really like that in th other timeline, we realize at the end that Powder had hextech crystals from the start, but didn't use the. In one world she destroys it, in one she protects it. beautiful
@AlisSpark: So anyone else thought that Viktor's story had super big end of evangelion vibes?
@JcTheGodQc: They need to do something about valorant
@sallee132: Brooo, Jinx is soo dead, leave it at that.
@vracar2667: Singed daughter is fkn orianna DAYMN
@Lobster467: Wished there were more and not so rushed
@PowerScissor: Parallel dimensions suck. They always suck. This sucked even worse after having a truly spectacular 1st season. This was Season 8 GoT disappointing.
@mik1984: Jinx left Piltover and there will be more stories about the universe, so there may be Jinx in those stories. :)
@standoodeman: Loved season 1 to pieces, easily top 10 series of all time. Season 2 was so rushed, still loved the storylines however, but they needed at least 2 seasons… needed way more time for the character development. The best episode, was the one where they took their time (episode 7). Such a shame..
@eloyball: As someone who's been playing league for more than a decade and grew up with these characters, I hate this ending. They created so many inconsistencies, plot holes and just plainly disregarded established lore. As a casual tv show enjoyer, it was alright. It felt kinda rushed and convoluted, like they had too many ideas and very little time
@zacyo7851: when vi gets tricked and ends up in jail when trying to get jinx out, she throws a tantrum and states that she always makes the wrong decision which causes her to lose everyone. This may have foreshadowed her staying on the platfom to make the decision to see if vander is still in the wolf's body, which caused jinx to sacrifice herself.
@mrthomas2847: you can see Jinx use her power before the bomb goes off, in the directions of the pipe system Caitlyn looking at the ending, plus remember what powder said first episode that she was going to do one day. airship hint hint
@wxlrdxndxr5168: Ambessa is not really dead, she's beaten death once before and I'm sure she'll do it again, as we see Swain's vision spies (the birds) in the very end. There will be some major lore dropping soon...
@danielnator123456: didn't like it.
@bujin1977: "Here is Arcane's... ending explained. Just to let you know this video will contain spoilers". Thanks for the warning...
@debuneko388: Riot be like , we show you the multiverse , now from this point on , they ain't canon
@Dans-q2q: what i liked was at the end where we saw Orianna and Swain ( the crow with 3 eyes). Swain is also form noxus and he watched it all.
@VegasLyfe: Just my thoughts. Jinx+Vi( 🚀 glove) is a greaf escape tool kicking off vander with grenades to make her kill BOTH of her FATHERS°°! Like if you you agree with the symbolizim and this comment
@jct0010: It was meh, kinda cliche. The show completely went off theme. The characters' lore and the conflicts between Zaun and Piltover in Season 1 were irrelevant in season 2. Also I absolutely hate alternate timeline/ multiverse thing, writers always butcher the plots using these cheap writings. But this is probably the best ending they could've come up with.😓
@danielszabo7988: I have to say, that the ending of this show was truly epic, shocking and full with sad emotions. Arcane is a masterpiece, there is no doubt about that, but still, I feel a bit disappointed about the ending part of act 3. Knowing that this show won't get a season 3 I really feel like they still didn't explain a lof of things properly, and since we don't know anything certain about Arcane's characters returning to the new shows, we'll probably never gonna get answers. Lot of the storylines were left to the "viewer's interpretation". For example, what really happened to Jayce and Viktor in the end? Its clear that we cannot be 100% sure that they are dead, it looked like they got teleported somewhere, or maybe into the arcane itself. But we get no confirmation about what really happened. And if they won't return in any future shows, then why didn't they make the ending clear for everyone? We might not see them again on the screen, and for me its really frustrating. Jayce was by far my favourite character, followed by Viktor, and I really hoped he would get a happy ending. Its clear that they didn't stick to league lore, so there were a lot of possibilities. Same with Jinx, there are hints she survived (shimmer effect when falling down, Cait looking at the Hexgate schematics and finding vents), but again, we will never no it for certain, unless they bring these characters back for the future shows or confirm their death. However, for me, it seems unlikely they will bring these characters back, because we will probably head to a new location, and they will introduce new characters from those specific regions of Runeterra. Also, there is Heimerdinger's supposed death, and we don't know anything about him either. The last thing I didn't like about the finale is the final minutes, when they remember those that lost their lives during the war. Why didn't anyone adress Jayce and Viktor's disappearance/death? Do they even know that they disappeared/dead? Noone talks about them, noone talks about Jinx (but at least Vi and Ekko mourn her). I guess the only thing that is missing for me is confirmation. I hate this uncertainty, that I will probably never know if these characters died, or if they'll explain what really happened to them.
@stanbauer3549: Did Jayce really have to shoot Viktor when he came back from the alternate timeline? If he already knew what he knew and had that piece of Hextech from there why he didn’t just explain everything and give it to Viktor straight away to prevent the war and all the bloodshed? Couldn’t he have done the same thing that he has done in the ending just earlier without unnecessary violence?
@Jamerific: Episode 9 needed an Epilogue. So many unanswered questions and it just ends. I am not one who plays the game, so for me, it is an incomplete story. That being said, I am aware that the creators plan to tell many other stories with other characters, and maybe we will see older characters return, but that is FAR into the future.
@ManuelJade-y3g: Hear me out, the point that arcane generally effed up for me is that it generally shows family brotherhood sisterhood etc. It annoyed me so much why didn't Vi go after jinx but went ahead for that caitnussy it felt so rushed and weird.
@danotoo96: Great show overall, but the 3rd act made me think that the arcane timeline is different from the league of legends one. Many champions die (I know we can't be sure about everyone, but that's what the producers chose to show us at the literal end of the series) and also things happen like caitlyn losing her eye, which i dont think were part of LoL version of lore ever. Honesty, I enjoyed the show, I just think they should have gone for a clearer ending. They chose to leave use with hundreds of questions when the story could have been way more complete at its conclusion
@tyroneloki5131: as they introduced ambesa as a playable character, they decide to kill her in the show? i mean am okay with that, killing playable characters. i wonder whats the next show gonna be..damacia V noxus would be epic. LOL has a deep well of lore tho
@Epiclukas1: I like the narrative in act 3. Parallel universes where the slightest change will make the biggest difference. So Jinx might be alive or not. Who knows what happend to Jayce and Victor. Heimerdinger, whatever happend with him. Transported or died and his essence got sent back to Bandle City. In the end it all doesn´t matter It closes with the same how it started. Victor sending a message to other universes to hopefully stop himself. And we got to witness one of the universes that hopefully get´s to see a brighter future.
@shilomclain8773: We did get an appearance from Raum, a crow demon belonging to a certain noxian champion, so feel like the next series might take place in Noxus
@overlordRX: Can someone please understand how Ekko had the power to reverse time in season 1? To my understanding he ws able to reverse time up to 4 seconds in his fight with Jinx in season 1 at the fight on the bridge. Yet, in season 2, we see him discover this tech, and it is used throughout the last two episodes. Please help me understand.
@ΖέφυροςΈρεβος: Jinx could have easily reactivated VI's Gloves to shoot out into a shaft.
@lumisfargo798: Soo no one is going to talk about swain's crow at the very end, hinting his appearance in a future project.
@tyroneloki5131: the Vi cait scene did not cut it for me. should have been a different imagery
@leenavolavka7217: 10:42 I thought of it more like Vi mourning any possibility of getting some part of Vander and the family they could all have now that Jinx was good.
@yukin640: She is definitely still alive but I think what that ending sequence meant is that her last shred of humanity had died before going full on Jinx. Because Isha did restore some of Powder-Jinx plus if you look at the flashback being shown while they were falling. You can see Vander looking at Violet and Powder sleeping with the lyrics, “if I could just lay my head down and rest..if there was nothing to fight or protect..maybe I could finally be free.. maybe death is like falling asleep..” meaning Powder-Jinx is finally dying, resting deep within her consciousness. While the gun-crazed maniac Jinx takes full control of her body. You know the one that’s wrecking havoc in the current Piltover in League 😅
@oldboni8317: Ambessa did not die
@Hazbear-q5i: ngl, episode 7 is my favourite episode out of the entire series
@shyr52: this is trash review. think the audience is blind and stupid
@reze_dev: Serrously though, how warwick is still alive even though viktor already defeated?
@desertchrome4538: The ending was ass
@JustForNoize: dont worry yall it isnt cope at all to say jinx is alive, the show heavily alludes to it and honestly lots of popular media have done the same when the character had such a transformative journey. if she wasnt alive they would not have animated an entire scene where its hinted at so heavily, also the airship was the same one from s1 e1 that powder said that she was gonna ride on one day and seeing as this show loves parallels id assume that she has infact finally gotten to ride on that airship at the end of the show! all we need to do is wait for the next piece of arcane media to come along and hope we get some cameos from these characters!
@tomhill11ify: So what was Ambessas Secret, they never said what it was or I didn’t understand it, also the Arcane never awoke it was just viktor. I am a bit disappointed in the ending it felt a bit rushed and could have used another episode at least
@dantetavita6907: i want a new series for each region/country in runeterra/league lore
@fredericauger1492: Also, the three eyed crow we see after singed and orianna is a clear tease for swain so maybe he come around in a futur spin off
@nooshy805: Jinx is most certainly alive but they literally must hate her, killed off over half her family then separated her from the rest. Not only that but Isha died for nothing and they rushed the heck outta this last act.
@ahhhhhhhhhhhh5553: 9:02 imagine your dad dying in front of u after having been turned into a monster … twice
@wooshylooshy: wait what happens to heimer dinger.... is he implied dead by connecting the wire or did he get phased into another dimension???
@corneliusong3481: Who let Riot cook this hard? This is unbelievable stuff
@GamingSavior9930: All this means is there is no way arcane can be canon cause they killed 5 characters in it. So unless we about to see a lot of ASUs and reworks then it’s not possible. Plus I don’t want a goofy looking Warwick 😭
@TamLe-yh3eg: Caitlyn did not smile because she thought Jinx escaped, she smiled because she heard Vi humming. If you wear headphone then you can hear the humming on you left ear, which is the direction Caitlyn turn her head to while smiling.
@my2randomcents: I loved act 3 BUT i do have one problem with the writing I understand time was a constraint but Viktor's opening dialogue with Ambessa does not convey his:"I wanted to save Vander and humanity even if I become powerless" to" the doctor made me change my mind" arc seen in Act 2, but it rather comes across as"making them robots was always my intention". Which makes him always seem evil, which was not the story development the series presented specially siding with Ambessa when her warmorgering is precissely what caused the whole problem
@matthyou561: love how theres now community or "jinx is not dead" shows how rushed and wrong this whole season was. vi gets to be the creator of everyones problems and be happy in the end. stupid as fuck. vi should have died. bottom line
@alexanderschimke5503: I love when viktor says “this device, it cannot be” because ekko made a second anomaly in another universe
@chrisart84: Jinx & VI = The story of Loki & Thor. Audiences love the character of Jinx. So she won't die.
@HasoliMida: I think Arcane is an alternate universe to the league of legends lore.
@Shiby23: I really didn't like episode 9 I robot crap. just seemed like a weak final fight imo.
@samerbayoumi6378: funny.... the vi and jinx arc was the one arc i didnt care about
@DarkTruth1: Too much gay crap in the show. Not necessary. Purely added for agenda. would have been a perfect show with less of it.
@MikaiWelts: The most beautiful part of arcane is that every experience in the story was essential for a good ending, for example, Ekko would have most likely not saved Jinx without the help of heimerdinger, but also without Powder he wouldnt have gone out of is way to save Jinx
@Tuskor: Yall are coping so hard, everyone who died is really dead and honestly the ending is so much better that way
@emca1597: There was a pink trail before the explosion, I assume Jinx survived and managed to escape from Vander's grasp.
@stefenleung: I think it's always a curse for show that too rushy to a finale. We expected Jinx to be explosive and berseker after act2, they even give a ep7 to "say goodbye to good Jinx" vibe. It's a bit disappointed. The "sex-scene" for Cait and Vi is just awkward. I think they tried really hard to not turn it into Haitai but I would advise they should just cut it into 2sec.
@TheForgotten366: the show is so good i might actualy play league of legends
@aziz523: Am I the only one who thought the random enforcer recruit that had a brief scene of him playing piano was maybe Jhin? We also did see Jhin's mask in the beginning of EP7
@EmeraldKing6987: I hope my boys come back, I fucking love Jayce and viktor, and we get nothing for them
@TeiowCuois: It is sad seeing my favorite series come to an end... But it couldn't of been better. Jinx's character evolved so much throughout the series, from Powder, to Jinx, to a Sacrifice.
@luvelenaferaldine4798: Singed was the only one who got the good ending.
@OBIETRICE86: masterpiece work i never seen anything like this
@WinFromWithin-o5w: Trash ending
@Rannulfus: I can't help but feel like Arcane's writers are trying to fake us out on a few things. Mainly, I don't think Arcane is main timeline events. Everything up to episode 8 feels like it could have been, but now it feels wrong. This feels like an alternate timeline to League of Legends lore, which can be canon in it's own right because Ekko is canonically the "boy who shattered time", and there is a powerful time mage within the lore by the name of Zilean, so alternate universe shenanigans have their avenue to be true canon. However, to a few points, I'm certain Piltover and Zaun do not come to terms with each other in established canon lore, at least not in the way they do in Arcane. Vander's final transformation into Warwick seems to be put to a halt by Viktor's interference with his physicality, even if he survived the final blast by Jinx. Biology just seems to no longer be a factor. Jinx herself continues to be a menace to society. Jayce would definitely still be a player, but that could be something corrected by future lore clarifications. They JUST added Ambessa to League of Legends, but JUST killed her off in the show which they claim is canon, which means one of three things: Ambessa gets resurrected in a way that doesn't curse her like most revived individuals in the lore; characters in the lore that are dead can be added to League of Legends as legitimate champions (meaning we have a chance at POTENTIALLY seeing Silco even though he had no special abilities himself); this is definitely an alternate timeline.
@clutchcake7717: Where's Necrit when you need him? Cuz I still have QUESTIONS.
@Zombeh: What could’ve been and what could be , two parallels on 2 sides
@CeejDaDeej: I loved the ending and ESPECIALLY episode 7, but I have to admit it felt rushed and steb, loris, and maddie were not given the development they needed for the roles they pushed on them in the end. If they'd perhaps made each act 3 episode an hour to let things breathe, especially episode 9, perhaps I wouldn't feel that way. As we'll probably see in more analysis videos and reviews, they definitely set up more stories for this League AU (i refuse to see this as canon). Mel evolved but I don't believe she's reached an endpoint for her development and Swain's crow means they're 100% gearing up for something centered around noxus if they made another arcane-like show. Something tying the mage rebellion in demacia or noxus' invasion of ionia would be really cool to see how they'd interpret it given how muich they adjusted the canon lore for arcane (Sion revived with Shimmer? etc etc). Exciting things.
@TheTwistedTreant526: I don't get it. How the hell did Alt Vi die in the timeline where Hextech didn't exist? Did she fall? It wasn't the Enforcers, because they are shown arriving later. Did Alt Powder kill her accidentally? Alt Powder got pretty offended when Ekko suggested she killed her
@CobRa-r8m: I think Arcane is an alternate universe to the league of legends lore.
@karimkozbari2362: no one gonna talk about heimerdinger... damn...
@SenturosGaviannus: 20/10 show
@TIdtiDmiso: Knowing that Jinx is real gives me piece of mind, therefore I'm delighted this film was made after reading the comments.
@ReignLowell-CaedoFaeda: If Jinx is dead I’m gonna boycott the writers 😭
@justright_: I heard that arcane is a prequel. So why did they kill ambessa if she's a playable champion?
@thescarecrow897: Ekko was the MVP at the end him turning back time to try to attack viktor again and again was so epic
@athanasiusbrown6788: Someone said this but they said the only person that got his happy ending was Singed which got me thinking why tf would a warcriminal get a happy ending but not the main characters
@Choppa773: Am i the only one who was genuinely confused throughout episode 6 7 and with the whole time travel thing happening I still don’t even know the difference between hex gate and hex core and yadyyada😭🙏
@chizuoluigbo627: Don’t know how jinx would end up in another universe just from that explosion but ok >_>
@M2JoyBoy: Hi league of legends player since 2013, the amount of regions and sheer amount of characters in the story makes the possibility of them making more shows off different region SUPER EASY. (personally I would want one around my favorite character and region the most, Yone and Ionia). But if Ionia happened I think it's more likely it would revolve around Zed and Shen since they're bigger names in that region.
@chuylisten4115: League of legends is just a multiverse and parallel universe. There no main canon just story’s of the legends we play in game.
@AlexGerasimchuk: Ep. 7 was the most boring and most useless episode ever. So disappointed
@roxannaaire2816: Have you noticed that in the alternative universe Powder/Jinx is happy, but without Vi. In canon Vi, she lived happily with Caitlyn, but without Jinx. It turns out that sisters can only be happy apart...
@slickproductions4813: Jinx isn’t dead. The memory right before the explosion is Vanders because powder is asleep in the memory. It’s from his perspective. And shows the same parts that the grenade was made of that triggered his old memory
@flamechicken415: mel and her family are such boring useless characters, literally just forced DEI inclusion that had no place in LoL lore
