@mikealan4412: I’m just wondering if they are gonna show Joel and Abby play golf really early in the season, I mean I feel they need to build up her character to the non gamers so they can see and feel for her point of a view of what golf is before she beats Joel at the PGA tour and every one has their opinion made up about her even as we watch the pretty cool things she does, but nope as gamers we hated her cause she beat Joel at 18 holes of golf so EARLY on in the game

@scott.chappell: Ya know with better pacing in regards to certain events, better writing for Abbey and her crew. It might actually salvage what was there. Don’t make the golfer’s irredeemable monsters outside of *the scene* — who was that black woman, Nora? She had a brief moment of humanity saying she still heard the screams but then went comically psycho. Why not actually show that these people are human that did a bad thing, characters in this world do awful things. Joel does awful things. Under his stoic meanie bo beanie attitude and a lifetime of living hard and doing awful things he can be a pretty decent human. Open up and be vulnerable and show his emotions to those he cares about. The issue with TLOUII’s narrative(of many) was the Wolves around Abbey being awful. According to interviews Neil wanted to explore violence begets violence and revenge gets you nowhere and to have more empathy or whatever but how is that possible when everyone is unlikeable? Show them as human, have them regretful, have them express remorse, the world didn’t need to be 9 shades of depressing.

Her size is not just about aesthetics, it is integral to her identity… and the impact of her trauma in the game. I’m so disappointed that the show didn’t consider this. I have spoken. 👌🏽
