Rick Mathers: Some of these are worse than apprentice tattoos, sad that so many of these so called tattooers get into this already over saturated trade.. I love tattooing with a passion but some of these folks don’t even study like a real tattooer. When you’re not tattooing, you should be studying, drawing, doing anything you possibly can to be the best you can be. Ink Master has indeed had great artists like Cleen, DJ, Steve Teft, etc.. but some of the early artists are so trash I don’t even understand how they got on the show in the first place.
