Elden Vedetta: Does anyone else agree the Battle Pass is NOT fixed? It's like what YongYea says game companies do with their three steps forward in greedy monetization schemes and pulling one step back after backlash, pretending it fixed everything when in actuality they're moving the goal post of what they're allowed to get away with. The 10 extra levels helped, but the double XP was pretty necessary to stay because it's STILL a snail's crawl to leveling up. They SAY it's not to strong-arm people into buying Battle Pass levels, but really what else is there? They said it's for "more player engagement" meaning players playing longer throughout the season. So instead of giving us more levels and thus more items to gain, they want us to get the same amount of Battle Pass Content (which most agree 75% of the stuff we get we will NEVER care to use) for a more than DOUBLE amount of time playing. This means they care more for how long we play than how much we enjoy playing. They're okay with making us feel obligated to play more, which is a negative feeling, a problem they're creating, where buying the 25$ of Battle Pass levels is an easy solution to it. They can PRETEND it isn't for that reason, but if the shoe fits, isn't it all too perfect for that not to be the reason? It obviously doesn't help us players out in any way.
