Shane Esarik: So excited! Great analysis, Dan!

Sabko Bds: Damn, I am excited again... I need this show now. I think Isa plays Soji, because it's simpler. But we can also see Dahj (and possible other "twins" of her). My speculation is that Picard (and Guinan) is only aware of "parallelism" (alternate timeline), but he somehow gathers his crew. But I am open to possibility that they are all aware of it - Rios in this shot seems to have felling something is wrong with "La Serena". Nice breakdown, Dan.

gavsmith1980: Great timing, the last time I watched Yesterday’s Enterpise was... yesterday!

Monkey Hunter: Could this be Janeway's fault? As a result of the events of the season final of Voyager ?

Peter Glynn: Q looking like Tom Jones

GlitchingDogDoes YT: 5:53 that could be a Starfleet guard/officer cause of the holster likes kinda federation or a stolen federation gun possibly escaping accountibility idk that's my thoughts I could be wrong but I thought about it

Scepticisme Scientifique: I'm really excited that there is a Brikarian on Prodigy, based on Peter David's novels!

Peter Glover: The blue flag could be Andorian.

djhutchison: Good to see De Lancie back. He still has the same energy as Q

Nick Von Dick: I'm all for a time travel plot, as long as it isn't the kinda time travel that renders the whole plot pointless by the end.

A Haydar: God, it looks so miserable. I dunno why I kept expecting something brighter and more optimistic for S2. I miss the escapism Star Trek used to bring me. They really aren’t even trying to bring in a little of that Orville vibe… just more angst, horror film orchestration and mystery box crap. No ‘sense of wonder’ left in dystopian Star Trek.

Patrick Arseneault: got to admit john looks good. black uniform, silver com badge. i would say section 31

DR W: If it is a yesterdays enterprise type of situation, guinan coming back makes more sense

Dominik: Like this Trailer. I am very intrigued for Season 2

Anthony Daramola: I think this sometimes back to the time when Seven was a time agent in Voyager

Keith Price: I've loved all of the ST series but was disappointed in Picard season 1. I'm holding a small hope season 2 is better. I did like the trailer, though.

Keith Price: Note that Rios also appeared to have his memories of the original timeline. He looked down at his hands in a confused way that was similar to Seven's look in the mirror. I'd guess all of Picard's team will retain their memories in the altered timeline. While altered timelines can be interesting, this feels a BIT like a retread with Q, where he essentially gave Picard a chance to change his decision that got him stabbed in the heart as a young officer.

Sam McDonald: Any chance this somehow connects to the mirror universe?

ITCHYisVegeta: The "time has been broken" line sounded like it was from the Borg Queen actress.

ITCHYisVegeta: John DeLance honestly doesn't look that old here. Some hair dye and a simple CGI touch up, and he would look just like he did in Voyager. I'm surprised they didn't do that honestly.

Mr. Pete Channel needs 900 subbies!: Are those the live action versions of the Lower Decks uniforms? The LD uniforms have that seem.

HiddenPalm: I don't like how Kathleen Kennedy ruined Star Trek. What she has done with the Klingons in Picard is disgusting! Seven of Nine is a Mary Sue.

Rinehardt 68: As long as you do it right time travel is always fun. Ever since I watched Mirror Mirror when I was probably six years old which was like 1975. I have fallen in love with time travel and Alternate realities. This is the kind of stuff we trekkies live to talk about and speculate about. I can see it now if 7 was never simulated that means she probably never met Janeway and doesn't know anyone from Voyager and several times she helped save the ship does that mean Voyager got destroyed and on and on I'm sure it's going to go. But that's part of the fun

jcamman99: It's the mobile emittor

Colonel Graff: Looks like an alternate timeline where Q didn’t introduce Picard and the Enterprise to the Borg. Edit: this also negates the Dominion war since Sisko wouldn’t lose his wife at Wolf-359, and would not have been assigned to Deep Space 9 and the wormhole would not have been discovered.

Matthew Wilkinson: 7 of 9's wedding band.... never assimated and married. Maybe discontent with domestic life?

SnowboardXP: Isn't Picard a robot or clone

Thomas Barca: I feel it could Section 31 feeling with Rios

gobo C.: Seven wakes up with a blouse, but on the mirror she's wearing a long sleeve. Maybe thats when time "changed"

J. Chappel: Did anyone else see the band on Seven's ring finger?

gobo C.: What if it's Doj and not Soji? Is Seven married?

jjmfrees 123: Not only Seven not wanting to go back to the trauma of Borg, will Raffi—if that’s her seated on the dais behind Picard—want to go back to a life of addiction and strained relationship with her son?

Jody Robert Ford: Oh no! We killed our main character last season! What shall we do? Alternate Trump timeline Piccard!

Dok Sampson: 7 has a wedding ring?

Slamma Jamma: Yes, very excited. Star Trek when it’s good it’s great & I think they’ll have ironed out most of the kinks of season 1. It’s a progression, and season 2 will reach new heights.

Horizon Brave: I'm loving this entire feel..a lot..however I did say the same for season 1 and I was sort of baffle by how over the top and unneeded some of the story beats were there. That being said, I'm so excited for time play stuff... I'm not in love with Q like many are, but I'm glad to see him be the sort of main antagonist. And I sort of hope he continues with the thread of putting Humanity on trial. I still think that is such a cool concept. Guinan I really hope picks up on this slightly altered version of reality, I love it if she got the same 'feeling' like she did before in Yesterday's Enterprise...and lastly...the uniforms in the altered timeline are on point! lol hell if the altered timeline has those uniforms... and PIcard isn't in the golem body...and as long as nothing crazy happens..bring on the altered timeline!

DCinPGH: One duo I'm hoping for in season 2 is Seven-Guinan. Seven has lots of trauma and trusts almost no one. Would love to see Guinan try a "I tend bar, and I listen" with her and see if she makes a connection

Beaverius: I never put too much into trailers, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't intrigued by all the hints!

Darien Chase: I figured that Q would emulate Picard's age as a way to save on the budget. Instead of youngzation with special effects. Something they will have to do with Whoopi Goldberg's Guinan. Which be why she's not in this teaser as that sfx is costly and time consuming.

Zurin Arctus: Picard: Q y have u come? Q: The Borg and species 8472 have assimilated each other. Picard: Oh F%^#k!

Tara Stepro: I'm guessing that Q has returned to show Picard the road that would have been taken had he NOT introduced Picard to the Borg when he did. If Q us there, it almost certainly is this. He mentions the road not taken. It feels like Q is going to be showing Picard how the path he initially set him on was the right one. Hence the All Good Things comment from Q about how the trial never ended. Just a thought.

Susan Trahan: Star Trek version of "Its A Wonderful Life". Q continuing judging humanity's worthiness and determine their fate as a race in a trial with Picard as the representative defendant for humanity.

rextrek: 46st.....Wasn't 7 and Chakotay a "Thing" ie: Voyager........or is that a different Timeline?

John Ballard: 🙂👍🏽Star Trek Picard season 2 review 🖖🏽📽

JONWADtv: 10:35 looks like a SpaceX Dragon like lander on maybe Europa I want to say.

Zarp: Seven works for Section 31 in the alternate timeline. Just a guess

Chuck A.: Great video. Thank you Dan.

Michelle josph: that is raffi and elnor in that darkened street scene with a dead body behind them on the ground and that is raffi in the starfleet room in a dress unifom that is commador oh saying time has been broken

avenuePad: The star emblem in Seven's bedroom is very similar to the TOS command star emblem, but not quite.

Starfleetguy: Two things that need to be resolved. Ro Laren, and Sela.

Faybaugh: One thing you missed is that it looks like Seven is wearing a wedding ring. Hmmmm.

Mossie Gee: Words fail me at how badly i want to see this RIGHT NOW! MAKE IT SO DAMMIT!!! 🖖🤣

moonwatcher99: Uhhh... Correct me if I'm wrong, but that 'new' Starfleet insignia looks like it has a dagger pommel in the center. I'm seriously wondering if this is some form of the Mirror Universe.

shaundis buddyguy: The star over the red crescent moon is the same shape of the centre stars on the federation flag . My guess would be it represents Earth only. Also, the Borg claw emblem is red with heavy lines in a curve such as this . The circuitry extending out of the star compliments that . Just a guess .

Oz Trekkie: TrekLit fanboy wish............somehow the time shifting dovetails in with the Coda trilogy being released later this year.

Jim Ludwig: Did you really call him "Hugh". It's Q!

Up Tech Extreme: Altered Timeline or Mirror Universe ?

CanyonFreak Adventures: Timey wimey 🙃😁❤️

CanyonFreak Adventures: Does the insignia 7 was looking at almost look like it could FIT into/onto the bottom of the insignia Rios was wearing? 🧐

TheNakorius: If its timetravel and seven is not borg, then the incursion had to be pre 2356, the date she was assimilated..In 2351 Dr. Telek R'Mor communicated with Voyager in the future..he was romulan so maybe.. this is also the year Picard got some award as stated in 1 seasons episode of picard.. so maybe a foreshadowing that this will be the year of the incursion...

BulletNoseBetty: OK, so if Seven doesn't have her Borg implants, does this change the storyline for the Borg?

SelectiveMemories: I noticed Seven has what could be a wedding ring and Soji's (if that's her) necklace has become a brooch.

Garrett Bridges: I like the idea of all of them being aware of their circumstances instead of Picard or someone having to go around and convince them something is wrong. - I think the only thing that would make Seven hesitate is if Icheb is alive and well. Though, with circumstances that vastly different, and if Seven was never assimilated, I have no clue how she would have met Icheb. - The greatest troll of all time would be if Seven was married to Chakotay in this timeline. - Chronowerx being included would be an awesome touch. I'm of two minds, because on one hand it seems like such a convoluted deep cut that they wouldn't bother, but on the other Kirsten Bayer is a legendary Voyager deep-cutter as we saw in the first season. - The aesthetic is giving off serious MU vibes, between Rios' uniform and seat design, Q and Picard's outfits in the first scene, and the bleak condition of Raffi and Elnor. I'm super excited for this!

russ vallelunga: Don't forget, Guinan will be back this season. Guinan senses time incontinuities.

Board Game Gran: Great rundown! The poster on the bus seems to suggest it's further in the future than now (unless it's a movie poster). Thanks for the thoughts.

Kane Bunce: That symbol Seven has in the draw seems very Klingonese to me, which would match well with the Klingons seeming to be a part of the Federation in this alternate timeline. EDIT: I do not thnik Seven will want to remain in the altered timeline. Given she rubs where the Borg implant should be, she clearly remembers her past traume. So remaining behind would not benefit her. Only if she could not remember the trauma would it do so.

Nick Scalan: It does appear that Picard's Admiral uniform is different from the one he wore in the still picture of him in the Star Trek Short "Children of Mars". The piping and trim is different.

Wayne Fraser: Out of all the new Star Trek, Picard was the weakest in my opinion. Saying that any Star Trek is welcome and this looks promising lets hope it makes 'The Leap'.

Mark McKeever: I believe Picard's uniform was shown in the prelude comic book to season one...Star Trek Picard: Countdown. Look for the cover to issue #1. 🖖

Charleen Giles: This was a pleasant surprise. The trailer looks good, and like you I am curious to see where this season will go😀🖖🏼.

Michel Filion: You are right about the people running in the street. It’s Raffi and Elnor. You can see them in your video at 8:11 behind Picard, with the same looks.

Jem Jemison: It also appears that Seven had a ring of her ring finger, whether it's her right hand or her left hand is hard to tell because of the supposed mirrored shot.

T.J. Zamboni Schwartz: The flag between the Klingon and Federation flags is the Tellarite emblem.

Andromeda: I was thinking those are probably dress uniform variants of the 2385 uniforms we saw in flashback from season 1.
