Peter Joshua: P.S pretty long read here🤪 You know, it's pertinent to know that there are different genres of music and a corresponding manner with which you can be creative and ace a performance. You see Naomi, she did excellently well and boy, doing a classic by Whitney Houston with all of her perfectly timed runs? That's class! And here on The Voice Nigeria, the way she does what she does, no one comes close. Esther Esther... Her strength is in the way she climb to the heights in pitching and do so while sustaining and transitioning every note seemlessely - that's some real breath control hurdle. Now in a ballad, when she does capitalizes on her strength, it has this effect on you, you're gripped, almost like you're in the presence of divinity and you can't but behold her entirety in awe... Now, I've seen a couple of Esther vs Naomi debates in the comment section and here's my take - 'em both are masters in their respective and a tad distinctive departments and everyone eventually has a right to picking a fav depending on what's more appealing to your fancy. Dapo vs Kitay... Believe me, I love Kitay, but when it gets down to who's explored the capabilities of his voice the most, Dapo is on a higher level; if you don't believe this, pay attention to the way switches registers on all of the performances he's done so far. Kitay on the other seems to be the stronger opponent when it gets down showmanship and everyone would pay to watch an excellent showman perform. Kpee is on a class of his own. Boy's so mature in delivery, the moves, stage presence and how he still gets a hold of his voice amidst all the activities, he rules in the Afro-pop kingdom. Nuel is like a gold mine, so much intrinsic value, yet so much to be refined and he's definitely shown growth especially with the timing of his riffs - let's enjoy his evolution into an excellent performer, see how long he lasts on the show. Anu.... That's one excellent delivery! I don't know who else noticed, but girl's got moves too... Eazzie has grown obviously from the blinds and here in the lives, very noticeable evolution in her craft.... All of these are first humans before competitors, I hope we all remember this and yeah, may the best talent be crowned, but much more having all of them excel outside the voice is the long term goal.
