Sevenfifteen Music: I don't know about the rules for speedruns, but with Optifine you can set the autosave to very high values, like every 12 or 24 minutes. Should be enough for a full run without saving.

desertrose0601: Dude. Don’t even sweat the small stuff like missing a dolphin’s speed. You’re already going wayyyy faster than anybody’s normal playthrough since you’ve already mapped out where the treasures are, where the portals are, etc. You’re already going insanely insanely fast.
