chima inwere: Truth be told, bands that are coming without a vocalist but playing over vocals that have already been recorded off location have an unfair advantage over those whose vocalists are likely to make mistakes being part of the "LIVE" set up. This is where the organizers of this competition have gotten it wrong. Those off location vocals have already received the best treatments possible coupled with the fact that that particular vocal could have been "the best of several takes" that made it to the final recording which is definitely what Studio production is all about. You want to include vocals in your band's arrangement/performance? Come with your vocalist(s) live.
