Felix Chavarria: So here's my counter argument, why force myself to watch something when there's "A lot" out there? Your argument as to why this is a good show is terrible just like the show. Granted after the 1st season I wanted to say, "I'll never get those hours of my life back". If you force yourself to anything, then it probably wasn't good to begin with. Mediocrity is not a crime but it's not a rally cry.

Josh Pinder: I really really wish the UK has HBO Max...I know NOW TV is meant to be our equivalent (due to many BBC based/produced shows are of course on our own IPlayer BBC service/Britbox...and the likes of Harley Quinn airs on CHannel 4/All4 service and Titans/Doom Patrol is on our Netflix but...they get taken off sometimes so it's hard to depend on) If we had a HBO Max over ehre we at least would be able to joi nin on the action ;-)

ClockMonsterLA: This show wades too deeply in the surreal/weird pool for my tastes. Moreover, I don't find any of the characters are particularly likeable. My general rule is that I won't watch a show if it doesn't have characters in it I'd want to hang out with if they existed in real life. None of the characters are very likeable or especially interesting to me. The only character I find interesting--Jane--is a dour, rage-filled b*tch all the time, and that gets tedious after a while.

Friis Torben Tappert: The Disney+ shows only feel like movies because they tap into the groundwork the MCU has laid down over all those years. If HBO would have been smart and drawn from the DCU coming out of the gates with a couple of high budget shows about Aquaman's world and maybe Wonderwoman including some of the second tier movie actors things would be very different.

Andy Lindsey: HBO Max IS a good service, and offers a much more diverse collection of content, compared to Disney+. It is rather expensive though, which I feel may be one of the issues. Also, HBO Max still seems to lean towards an older audience, versus Disney+ being a very family oriented service.

But what I also love is the secondary characters because they're so wacky and they help to build up this amazing universe... from Dany to the S*x Patrol, Flex, the FIERCE Maura Lee Karupt, Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man... C.J Swordpunk aka the Exorcist: Larry is one of the best LBGTQ characters going in a series right now. I really love his character. I'm straight person and I can even relate to him with things he goes threw. See that's how you do a LBGTQ character. Make them someone who going to touch people all all kinds. make him more then his sexuality..(though it is a big part of who he is, but many can still find relatable and understand) Because then it a character that teaches people not to hate someone for being different then you. Because they are not that different from you. This why they need to do the Midnighter and Apollo in a series or movie.
