PozoBlue: I always thought Alder was one of the most interesting characters in S1 and she's become my favorite in S2. She reminds me a bit of Lexa, a great leader making extremely hard and seemingly ruthless decisions for her people, appearing stoic but being so grief stricken underneath it all. I truly hope this series doesn't lose her. It would greatly diminish the show. For S3, I hope Raelle regains her edge from S1 & more character/personality development is done with her. Tally needs to be a bit less self-righteous. Abigail and Anacostia are bloody perfect as they are and their character arc has been wonderful. LOVE Willa and looking forward to seeing more of Willa's bff/dodger leader friend. I'd like to see Petra more in a combat role rather than in intelligence or as general (her fight at the wedding is still the most badass fight of all the action scenes in the series). Love Adil, love Scylla, not a fan of M, love Izadora. Really hope they renew this exceptional show.

Chris Davis: Alder is one of the better written arcs, despite her not being a main character. In some episodes, I've been sympathetic to her and at other times wanting her to be removed. The impressive part is the view of her largely changes due to more and more context being provided. I think this highlights an important difference between her and Petra. Responding to short term events isn't always the best long term answer. I thought Alder talking about the wars she had been in, and the benefit of a single enemy, the Spree as a way to reduce country-to-country war, raises the question of whether morally absent actions can still be the best long-term, net strategy. Good writing to me is when the viewer is left with meaningful questions and unclear answers. Bravo.

The emotions and thought process was so clearly written on everyone's faces and I'm screaming internally waiting for the next episode. My biggest question is what WILL happen with Alder and the Biddies. She was almost forced to prolong her life and now the reason for prolonging her life is gone. Will she join the Mycellium? Will she help Raelle fight in the end?

Leane Arnold: Major kudos to Lyne on her portrayal of Sarah. Truly .. it broke my heart!!!

Jasmine.__: I really really really REALLY hope Alder stays in the series. She may be hard to figure out but she's so fascinating. Some agree with her and some don't understand her methods but that's the beauty of it, you see both sides and why she does what she does. If she goes I'm really going to miss that.

Jose Pardinas: I'm very disappointed that the supposedly-ancient Mycelium is a creation of Alder's. I like the show, but the writers could have come up with a much more interesting origin story for Mother Mycelium. Nonetheless, Motherland continues to look like a great recruiting tool for our military. I'm betting that alone might get it renewed for at least another season.

Phoebe T: I love raylla so much, I really do. The representation warms my heart a lot. But what I love even more is the fact that this show is not just a love story, it's so much more than that. It represents life in so many ways and it's just so meaningful. The grief, the loss, the teamwork, the love, the grit, the resilience, the courage, the strength, the hard work, the patience, the sacrifices. All these actors are so so amazing at what they do and I have never loved and appreciated a show this much. Hands down my favourite show ever and I really hope it gets more seasons that it deserves so that everyone working on it can dive deeper into bringing an amazing story to inspire the world to make it a better place. So so thankful and grateful for the creation of this show.

Karlee Valentino: I knew it.. Wow this episode was really a WTF moment. I knew Tally wouldn't allow Nicte to die. If they would of executed Nicte then the Spree would not join the fight against the Camerilla. Saving Nicte was the right move and the truth needed to come out. No more cover ups, the Camerilla has been the only one winning in this whole Spree vs. Army situation. It was heartbreaking to see Alder step down. But I feel that Petra will see that it is not easy to lead and Alder needs to remember who she was in the beginning and take some responsibility. Power can make people do terrible things. Can we finally agree now that Vice President Silver is Camerilla and that he was saying goodbye to his daughter because he is prejudice against witches. He knew what was coming... Mother Mycelium I did know was the collective of all witches since season one when Scylla explain it to Raelle. She said that death becomes life and life becomes death over and over again. It would of chosen Alder since she brought it out but it chose Raelle because she isn't looking for power. So Raelle will be endgame and a huge part of winning this next war.
