Damen Williams: The Trailer actually had me believing season 4 was gonna be done well. It’s not all bad but episode 1 was disappointing with the CGI. Beast Titan just Looks so weird when he is throwing things now so stiff.

HPHP: some say WIT worked on the trailer, is it true? any references/links? ngl the trailer was so much better. and probably since im ignorant in the standards of anime cgi, i dont dig using cgi for titans at all, lots of people say they did a great job in the cgi but i still find it bulky and doesnt blend in well. its just my opinion tho, if u think its good then good for you.

_Phoenix Flame_: If MAPPA didn’t take attack on titan into their studio the final seasons would have never happened and also MAPPA is animating a lot of shows right now which is a lot of money. Usually one anime episode cost $100,000 to $200,000. I’m not saying all the attack on titan fans are doing this but please to the people who are saying that WIT was so much better give MAPPA some slack they are working very hard right now.

lordofdiscordia: It really alternates between both which ones looks better, although I do think the anime wins out. Alot of the trailer really lacks details in some scenes, like Gabi jumping out of the train looks way better in the actual anime for example

These are more detailed and better put on show. Since you just notice very much the difference between CGI and drawn. But honestly: I'd rather have the fourth season of Attack on Titan as it is now than none at all.

bek: I like this anime alot, and i usually think it‘s not bad when you use CGI...the only issue i have is when the CGI is not at least 24 FPS because you can notice the leaps it makes when you watch it. It‘s like looking at a really fast powerpoint presentation while a smooth animation is running in the background...

Destroydserpent神人: Fuck man I wish mappa had more time. This is set to be probably one of the greatest anime series of all time but the animation this season is just poor. This trailer looks gorgeous but none of it is the final product which is composed of poor animation and cgi, boring colors, and even the sound is lazy (Reiners transformation doesn’t sound satisfying at all and gave me no goosebumps compared to every other transformation ever). It’s not that the animation is unbearably bad but it definitely could’ve been better but that simply isn’t possible with the time that mappa has to work on this. It’s sad but the story is better than any other in anime history so it’s worth watching still. I pray to god other key moments are animated better I actually didn’t mind the cgi so much since it was just the first episode. We’ll see praying for the best and either way I’m hype this anime is a banger.

Felipe Lopes: I don't understand why they had to redraw all the scenes in the trailer. Like I understand that they had to remake the tints for CGI, because continuing to draw them would be expensive and would take a lot of time. Besides, in my opinion the CGI titans are good! But some scenes were already perfectly good, they didn't need to be redone. I don't want to complain because the anime is so good! They did a great job, I just thought they wasted money, when they could have saved and spent it on more important scenes.
