This was the best premier episode this show has had in ages. I thought it was awesome that the performers got to show what they are made of performance wise, and introduce themselves to the judges, prior to competing... It was new, exciting, and very reality show competition like... Ya'll need to stop complaining and just enjoy the fact that this show is still on TV! FFS. I loved every single queen in that first episode. Not one bad lip sync in my opinion.

Sunny Golightly: My least favorite premiere episode so far, no jaw dropping look, no interesting pair up, no celebrity guest, just 6 lip sync and they were unfortunately……just okay. I know I don't speak for everyone, but the show is just not what it was. A lot of the premiere episodes, I could watch again and again, like S12, the group performance I watched 6 time by now. But this, no, I don't want to watch any of it for the second time.

kieran choi: I was really confused by the result of two of these lipsyncs...most of all, Gottmik vs Utica. Gottmik just looked really awkward in her movements, Utica was doing her own thing which was very odd, but entertaining nonetheless. Symone vs Tamisha was confusing for me as well. Tamisha gave me the full Janet Jackson fantasy (after recovering from not being able to walk! Come THROUGH!) and Symone was just kinda...walking, talking, and pointing. Meh. I'm suspecting that whoever the bottom bunch votes out will lipsync against whoever loses the challenge for the first episode winners, and the loser will be the first eliminee. Excited for the next episode and seeing where this season goes! 😍😍

Maxx Nieves: I need to know if they were told they'd be lipsyncing because some of these looks were very odd choices when you either know that or don't and just expect the usual randomness of the photoshoot. Like Joey, Denali and Kamora in particular, what would they have done if they got put in a wind tunnel, a water tank, sprayed with paint or had to balance or whatever, are you gonna ruin your Bob Mackie? Look like a plucked chicken when all your feathers are washed and blown off? Do you have a prosthetic leg in your bag to replace the one you chop off with your ice skates?
