HouseAlwaysWins: Now I’m probably gonna get heat for this but I feel like it’s an important point to the ending scene. Eren’s first act of war, before he even kills Willy, is that he kills however many families were in that apartment complex that he transformed in. Now I’m not saying that Marley is in the right or that Eren is in the wrong, but as we move forward (no pun intended) in this story we start to enter into more and more gray areas of our characters’ moralities. And I feel that little fact is the most poignant example for that.

Ra Chichi: Just wanted to point this out. *Eren titan can not talk* This was one of things the S3 has neglected, in manga Hange tried to get Eren to talk in his titan form during one of her experiments and he couldn't. Not all titan shifters have the ability to speak in their form.

Eren didn't mention it in the meeting when he figured it out because he thought that Historia might be forced to become a titan by the military at some point (even if she was a shifter, she'd have the limited lifespan) so that the FT's power was available to them if necessary. It is because he said the same thing back in season 1 ep 12 where Eren was like in a dream state and can't control his titan form but then comes Armin talking to him about the outside world. Small detail but wholesome which also triggers his decision to move forward.
