Erens mindset is do or die that’s why he’s brushing off all the killings cause he’s doing what has to be done before his people are destroyed. Erens also possess a bunch of memories so we can only imagine the thoughts that have gone through his head in terms of how to approach everything it has much more to do with overall survival than Revenge. Childhood trauma and trauma that lasted throughout ones entire life including memories of others is probably enough to start thinking towards the extreme approach on how to stop your enemies before it’s too late. Also think about how the Marley possessing multiple titans would basically dominate and kill thousands of people around the globe. They are at war and continue to be at war with others. If it weren’t for advanced weapons they would continue to colonize. While Paradis is just minding their business living peacefully in an island before they came.

Supreme King: Attack on titan being Attack on titan. Jean throwing blame on Eren which is somewhat true but at this point I feel that they should have expected quite a bit of casualties but Damn Isayame gone do our girl Sasha like that, this episode got my feelings. Love this man's story telling. Also like Eren should have just taken that one bite to secure the Jaws and that would have put have him more advantage in the coming future.

James Games: The reason you only understand war this way is because you're part of the oppressing force (Marley/USA) which can afford to have rules and choose peace, this is the entire point of the show is that violence is inevitable but not all violence is the act of a monster. There are little bits of this everywhere, particularly in the scene with Uri and Kenny, and episode 6 where mikasa's powers awakened.
