Jevioso Orishas: The scene where Oso warns Teddy about starting a blood feud between Louie and Franklin and him saying Franklin's not the type who would start one in season 5 is really telling and it explains why he ultimately turned on Teddy. Teddy doesn't really get how family works, and by extension, how loyalty works. If he would've understood that he would've never dealt with Louie in the first place, or at least, he would've checked with Jerome to make sure they were ready to deal with the consequences of what they were asking for because he's the one that has the blood connection to Franklin. When Teddy sees Oso saving Franklin, he tries to persuade him that he shouldn't because Franklin is a traitor...because he brought the KGB into it. Teddy's an ideologue, he doesn't understand that to regular people, especially street dudes like Franklin and Oso, family and loyalty is all that matters; and the reason why both of them turned on him is because he doesn't show respect for either one of those, because if he did, they would've never been in the mess they were in.

Samuel Davis: Gustavo knew all along Rueben was following him. Once Gustovo made the drug deal and joked to his suppliers that the lady was a DEA agent. The DEA began to get suspicious. Checking the where abouts of Gustavo's wife who had disappeared. Rueben knew that the DEA had Gustovo in custody, so he used his car to free Gustavo, knowing he would lead him to Teddy. Franklin was starting to get worried because Gustovo hadn't shown up. Hence the shot was about to happen followed by the boric acid in that drum that would left no traces of Franklin. Gustavo knew that once Rueben killed Teddy he would have no use for Franklin and himself. Hence he killed Rueben. Now the tables have turned and we will see the big coward Teddy is with no control.
