And before when the first barchie kiss happened they were broken up and both broken into pieces which may i add that jug also did the same thing and even more with Toni and after gave his shirt to her. Later on on their next break up jug broke betty during everything that was happening in her life with chic and all, he just said sorry and she forgave him. But you know what everything was good until season 4 that jug almost died which made betty die inside. After all the drama with stonewall prep was done betty did everything she could to make sure he graduated and not end up like Archie but what did jug do throw what she had put so much work into on the ground in front of her and then got really mad at her(ScreenKit and started breaking everything) for being worried about him getting into another mystery since the last one almost GOT HIM KILLED. On the other hand verónica got mad at Archie for a problem that could be solved very easily. So betty and Archie were both broken inside especially betty since she is a girl and im sure all the girls can agree that a boy shouting at u is very scary and sad. So during the music they kissed and the following events like meeting up and stuff was wrong and the kissing as well. However, i think it was all their faults and the fact that Archie took advantage of betty needing more attention from jug while he broke her first in season 1 is just soooooo low. In addition we all saw how sad betty was when she told him and she knew that she did something wrong but like jug said some high school drama might be good for them. But whatever, everything happened and now they are back. Jug is a drunk and broke writer that hooks up with different girls every night and y’all mad at betty for having a relationship and i think betty also deserves someone better. For the record i think they are both in love and fools but come on people i love jug and betty so stop hating on any of them go hate of that ginger boy who started all this and even in high school betty stopped him before it went too far and he was the one who wanted to meet in the bunker and also wrote a song for her. They are both in love but they think that bughead’s ship has sailed SO JUST FINGERS CROSSED THEY BOTH STOP BEING FOOLS AND START TAKING OUT THE BEST IN EACH OTHER AND DO ANYTHING FOR EACH OTHER EVEN IF IT WAS PUTTING BEHIND THEIR FAMILIES LIKE THEY USED TO 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻❣️❣️❣️❣️ #bugheadforlife (For the record i am a bughead fan to my bones so don’t think for a second i am on one side i just want them together with no hate against either one. Victoire Baillie: Okay, maybe this scene is a tiny scene, but it seems clear that nothing is over between Betty and Jughead. We can just see how he looks at her when she says she's going to come back to Quantico. Inside him he's afraid of losing her again. Yes he still in love with her, we know it since the 4x04 (thanks to the t-shirt) On the other hand, Betty is in a more complicated situation. I have a theory but please dont attack me it's just my opinion : I think she's still in love with Jughead too but for now she wants to focus on Archie because it's more easier. (I already see the Barchies calling me "hater" haha) But here we go ! Betty knows how much she hurt Jughead and just wants to run away from this, because it made her feel bad, guilty and sad. Everything she doesn't want to feel more right now ! And when we knows what she's been through it's really understandable. Don't forget that Betty was sequestered by a serial killer during the time Jump. I think after this nightmare she locked herself in denial like when she talks with her therapist and says "everything is fine." While absolutely nothing is fine and we know it, she is traumatized and most of the time the people who suffer from post trauma symptoms reject everything and every person they feel too close to them and act sometimes differently without even realizing it. I'm not saying Betty's trauma have something about with her sudden obsession for Archie but I think there is a connection ! For me she's looking for fun, no fuss and I also think there's a lot of dark Betty in this story, in the sense of impulses, obsessions and sex and she knows she can have that with Archie. Jughead represents too much upheaval that she can't handle for now ! That's why I think she's so distant with him and almost indifferent. Afterwards of course I could be wrong and maybe Barchie is going to be the "big love" but I don't think so. I don't think anyone can understand Betty better than Jughead. He's the only one who has always known how to appease her dark side, the only one who was never afraid of it. So for me it's naturally the only one who will be able to get her out of this. That's why for me Bughead is endgame no matter what.

Ocean AP: It’s been 7 years everyone has to move on at some point in their lives, yes bughead has been a grave part of this show, but Betty has always been in love with Archie and you can tell she was in love with him even when she was in a relationship with jughead, I think Betty used jughead to seal the gap that Archie left when he confessed that he didn’t have feeling for her, but slowly Archie starting opening up to her and her feelings for Archie started to show again, it’s clear that Betty will always love jughead but her love for Archie will always be deeper no matter what. But tbh I think that he will start to grow a closer bond to pop tates daughter as it’s clear they have connection, and I think this will be a grave part of the show, tbh jughead will use pop tates daughter as a potential seal when he finds or is told that Betty and Archie have been hooking behind the scenes, this is like what Betty did with jughead also. But I don’t think they’ll get back together it’s clear that Betty dosent want to and she’s in FWB with Archie which will cause more controversy between everyone. We’ll see in the next few episodes in how the writers develop their relationship. Also I believe that they’re will be someone better than Betty, but I don’t think that jughead is upset at Betty, I think he’s more upset at himself, he seemed depressed and angry because he’s been out in this position and if he dosent perform at his highest level people will question his creditably as a writer. I think what the Ep6 preview showed was another story that jughead could writer relighting the spark he once had in riverdale. I think as his story develops so will his relationship with Tabatha, what I saw was that him and Tabatha would maybe do what jughead and Betty used to do, that’s what grew there bond in the first place, but who knows.
