Warrior Princess: So annoyed that they wasted another episode by making it a musical. If I wanted to listen to music, I would - and I’d pick a genre I actually like. I just forward past the music numbers and I’m left with like ten minutes for an episode. And now there’s only one episode left for the season. I don’t usually care enough to complain about tv shows but so many of them are doing broadway music numbers for an audience that has chosen to sit at home and watch a Netflix show. Even Dear White People has converted an entire season in to a musical season. What a waste of what was amazing art. Fine do one musical episode if you absolutely must, but any more is a waste of my money. And no one has money to waste anymore.

I said out loud then that idk when they gonna do it but he’s gonna get back with Betty . I like Jug and Tabitha together it’s a nice new dynamic that wasn’t necessarily forced. I think we all knew eventually that Veronica and Reggie was gonna end up together. I think these are how things will end up in the end if I’m being honest .

Archie/Veronica and Jughead/Betty both broke up sloppy but had not for Archie joining the military, Varchie would’ve reconciled so he still had those feelings when he came back. Now that he got a taste of Betty in 5A and real closure with Veronica in 5B, Betty is past her ordeal with Polly, and Reggie/Veronica and Jughead/Tabitha getting together, they are both truly free to be together for the first time in 11 years.

Jack Stanton: After watching this promo, I feel like Cheryl's witch plotline was foreshadowed in previous Riverdale episodes, even if not intentionally. In 1x05, Jughead mentions the Salem Witch Trials at the beginning when he narrates about the investigation into Jason's death and the Salem Witch Trials are mentioned a second time in 4x17 as Jughead's topic for his US History paper. Considering the brief moments I could see of those mens' outfits (which looked very old fashioned) and the fact they're using an old torture method for witches, it would seemingly take place in the 1600s, so it could be a dream? Either way, I personally thought there was some foreshadowing there, intentional or not.

This would be the fourth. Betty basically broke up with him in season 5a saying they were better off as friends. Honestly, I think they need to let Betty be with friends as friends for a little bit and grow into the relationships more naturally. Each time she’s with Archie at the moment, it just seems too forced, like they’re trying to make them a couple. All that being said, I haven’t seen the newest episode yet, I can’t stream it until Thursday, so maybe I’ll have a different opinion then, but from what I’ve gathered, Archie and Veronica break up in the new episode and then then right in the next one, Betty and Archie are together? Anyway, this is just an opinion!!
