A Rivera: I really do not believe warzone will have too much of a change. At least not to the extent of having a redesign because of a nuke going off. I believe Activision has shown us their unwillingness to make that big of a change to the map. The amount of time it would take and the resources involved to redesign the map seem to be something they have no desire to implement or invest in. The path that Fortnight has forged seem to be specific to that company's vision. Which is understandable seeing they do not have to content with new MP maps updates like Call of Duty has to. Additionally the size of the files have been an issue in regards to updates for warzone. As much as I would love to have a new Warzone map. I just do not see it being a huge change. As I stated before, not to the extent that most people would like. I think it will be some additions made to the warzone map on a much smaller scale. Think the train, bunker, subway and stadium that build on to rather than replace. I stopped playing Wazone back in August due to the same map getting pretty repetitive to play regardless of the different modes or small additions to the existing map as mentioned above.

B.S. Productions: Okay so like your theory is completely valid and honestly I would not mind it at all. But it also does lead some inconsistencies amongst the timeline and what the story is. The only reason why I’m bringing it up is that Stitch tells Naga that he is transporting Adler to Verdansk and there is a ship going to Verdansk so I’m assuming Adler would be on the ship. But Inkslasher also brought up that this ship can be transported to in modern day while Adler was carried to Verdansk 37 years ago which I mean would make sense but I think that would be sort of misleading because if he is transporting Adler to Verdansk in the 80s then why is there another ship coming to Verdansk in modern day?

Joe Romero: I think the Cargo Ship will crash on the port and start flooding the map through there. The Outbreak spreads as well as the Crystals. Terraforming the map little by little. by the time the mode is over, they cant contain the zombies and crystals, so we have no choice but to nuke Verdansk. This'll give the map some stages of evolution as well.

Also, it has me worried because there were SO MANY bugs and glitches during integration this year (attachments still aren't right after a full season), and it has me wondering if they are even capable of making minor changes to the game itself, without it taking seasons to fix and rebalance the game to the way it should be.

Theories are that the Warzone crew will hop back in time via Dark Aether teleporters, and Adler comes back to the Ural Mountains with them, reuniting him with his crew but bringing Price and Soap along

And I thought it was funny to have zombies during the halloween event but no more than that. If I wanted zombies I would’ve bought Cold war but I didn’t. I think it’s a shame of all the tasks and easter eggs that me and my team hunted would lead to zombies destroying verdansk!

Btw it says the beginning of the end at the bottom of the road map which could also mean a new map maybe

metallicfreak: My theory: The ship may carry NOVA 6, but what if they are hauling Aetherium crystals from the Dark Aether Storyline, and what if the crew personal may have gotten infected with the crystals along with the gas due to mishandling of NOVA 6 canisters, and they land at Verdansk to get help but failed, this is why there are storm clouds hovering over the ship, and maybe, for the zombies, what if Requiem goes to Ural Mountains and found an unstable portal, and when they try to stable it, it failed and the portal destroyed itself and the Dark Aether is released?

Ben Riedl: So I understand that verdansk is an unpopulated "Warzone" which means there are no civilians to get infected which means the out break starts with just the crew of the ship that undoubtedly crashes into the shore of verdansk then players that "die" actually are just infected and adding to the outbreak and thus more chaos ensues and as the outbreak grows the idea of a nuclear failsafe becomes a more real option. Best guess would be that it's a giant event when it launches with the outbreak starting small and growing as players go down to the zombies but the main objective is to find the bunker with the nuclear launch control's, launch said nuke and then it's a mad dash to secure a bunker as a team, then the nuke gets within t-10 seconds to impact and most players are in a bunker it goes to a cutscene from your perspective and the rest is to be discovered.
