EccentricGentelman: Harley Quinn is a really weird show when you think about it. It takes itself very seriously, yet at the same not seriously at all. It goes so deep into characters, arcs, growth and change. Into relationships, how they work, how to make them work and when they don't. And yet it's set in a world that is utterly unbelievable, even with the suspension of disbelief most superhero media needs. Villains can walk around in public in costume, they have award shows and conventions, criminal organizations are out in public like corporations and a supervillain who once killed a man with toxic waste can just become a superhero. 60s Batman was more realistic, believable and sensical this show.
