I know that you are in the minority and most people are open to new things in zombies but goddamn y'all are being whiny about this. It's a separate game mode. It's not replacing the maps. You aren't forced to play it. Hold your comments off till we get to see the mode in action properly online.

Snufflux: I know everyone likes to bash game journalists for being bad but this honestly isn't the worst gameplay of zombies I've seen. Sure there are some confusing things, like why he seems to think the RPG is a good weapon to use ever, or why he doesn't just start sprinting once he starts getting hit, but he lands more shots than he misses and he seemed to at least understand the concept of training zombies into a group. Compared to things like watching journalists bash Doom Eternal for the marauder being too difficult while also watching the gameplay of them floundering like a fish out of water, this at least gives me the impression that the guy has put more than like 20 minutes into a shooter before. Of all the bad gameplay to complain about, I'd say this is pretty passable.

Toasty: Bit disappointing that it's an existing muktiplayer map and not a brand new map designed specifically for zombies. Just comes off as Lazy, like they came up with the idea but couldn't be bothered putting effort into making a brand new map for it.

Andrew Bristol: This style of combat against the undead is awful in an open environment that is designed for pvp. I understand how this can still be fun, but come on. Zombies can be a great enemy if they are capable of interacting with their environment in believable ways. In this context, zombies could hide behind trees, under snow, or inside buildings. Zombies are viewed as simple, but they don't have to be! All of the behaviors I just mentioned can enrich the player experience in a positive way. So why not? My guess is that this sort of zombie is easy to implement. That is a shame, in my opinion.
