@bersi: The thing about the jade weapons is: Jade is a mineral, not a metal. So the weapons don't look like jade weapons but green metal. Like Xzibit just came around the corner and pimped their guns. Yes, this is an old people joke.

@BoiSoi313: We needed a comp revamp, but this isnt the solution, here we are again blizzard! Were starting this all over again. You put a bandage on the wound instead of curing the infection. 5v5 is trash, one less tank means less peel, means your backline isnt getting much help, means supports are getting bullied by flankers, means they buff supports to the point where they become the strongest characters in the game. One less tank means no team synergies, means no strategy. The game has turned into an all out ffa, where dps have to do 3x as much as the support in order to get the same value for the team. Kiriko, bap, ilarei, brig, moira. All need massive reworks, gut tbe characters and turn them into actual supports.

@BlaizeTheDragon: We've been sat with having gold weapons as the only earnable skin for so long that ive gotten extremely bored of looking at them. So while Jade isnt my personal favourite colour to look at, i would at least like to think they'll add more down the line. An amethyst colour would be rad as hell. But its still something a bit different and i imagine it looks better on some weapons than othees much like the gold.

@exlante: I watched the video from start to finish and I'm asking. Where was I supposed to get excited? On the one hand, the revision of the rank system would be long overdue, in other games where the competitive game mode can be found, the solution comes after the first feedback. But do you have to wait months here? To me, this preview shows nothing but Blizzard identity confusion. He doesn't know or wants to decide what season he wants. There's Valentine's Day, or Alien Day, and then there's Anime Day. That's already 3 things we see in this one trailer. It's all chaos. It can be said that it is neither the beginning nor the end. So you can't build 1 game preview that even you don't know exactly what you want. There are no new maps, and casual players who don't rank will not receive any content that tells more than they should. I won't be kicking ass for an anime collaboration because I love the Cowboy Bepop anime. This update works smoothly even with cold water. It IS possible to base it on an iconic anime and its love, it is possible to base it on the community of OW 1 and act as if the opinions and feedback of the player base matter. Before you come to the comment section for "you see things pessimistically", let me tell you something. I'm not pessimistic about this update, I'm disappointed. I'm disappointed because my favorite game was Overwatch 1, they were able to build an excellent world, the heroes were exciting, interesting and their hero stories were unparalleled. That's why it hurts that OW 2 is nothing but a disappointment. They took out what made this game UNIQUE. They removed the loot box system, even though it had the charm of what you open from it. They replaced it with a gold coin system that you can't earn by completing in-game missions UNLESS YOU SPEND REAL MONEY. Is that okay? So, there are add-ons in the game, just hidden behind a pay gate. The game, the development team, doesn't even give you the opportunity to farm the skins you like. The quest system reward is xp... why? The battle pass free to play is, quite simply, the category of a joke. While in other games where the battle pass is present, they were able to counterbalance things where it is WORTH grinding for the rewards, while here it just makes you tense and nervous. This is not what the players deserve. After that, they throw in a well-known anime and expect everyone to lose their brains. Season 9 presented a watered-down fos marathon, which not only failed in terms of concept, but also said a lot about Blizzard's developers (those left). The game is already suffering from identity confusion, and I don't know what the solution could be. But it is very telling that during the announcement video, it was not possible to write anything for more than 5 hours. What communication is this please? Or can we even call this communication? I'm going to avoid the world of Overwatch until I see them actually start working on the game's main problem, it's not worth wasting my free time on. Because you can make a crappy game for any developer, but it doesn't pay off because it quickly goes out of the public's mind.

I think it is a terrible idea personally. @SirEvilestDeath: Remember when support heros were unique when only a few could self heal? Now it’s common place and none are truly unique. Why choose a Lucio when there are AOE healing effects from so many others and they can heal themselves over time. Who cares about a slight speed boost when it’s not going to matter with teams splitting up to begin with so that is a useless tactic. It’s not like it charges attacks faster too like Kitsune Rush will or can taxi people as far as fast as Life Grip or overshield as an ult? Something that has to be timed in a perfect way to do what any shield or wall or barrier can do but has to be activated in a way the character literally jumps causing it to take longer to activate due to it needing to hit the ground to work? Characters like Lucio use to be absurdly useful and unique. Now, why bother to pick him besides to boop people off edges? Even the easier wallriding is pathetic. He was my first main, then Ana back in Overwatch when Ana was brand new. Now it’s Moria or Mercy. You ether want someone who can’t die and damage out the ass or someone who can revive anyone else is throwing a match. Now we just want to give everyone healing? Support use to matter but was underpowered due to always being targeted first (like they should be!) then they became redundant and a good team still focuses on them first or loses because they focus fire on something retarded like the tank that keeps getting healed or revived because nobody is competent enough to focus fire and clip Mercy’s wings before she can revive making all damage or eliminations on a target useless. You add even small bits of self healing to every class and support loses all its reason for existing unless they are all gigabuffed to the point they are just assault characters. I hate what Blizzard is doing where older characters just get worse and lose all reason to play while newer ones replace any reasoning for using past heros. Ana having the only non ult sleep and healing cancel has by far gotten out the best and needed a heal over time since she has no movement abilities but seriously, what the fuck is the point of characters like Zen or Lucio? Their abilities are done better by others already and are just sad versions of what they use to be. Then again at least Zen has his shield regen…oh wait, with health and shield working the same for support why the fuck would shield even matter? It all comes back over time outside of combat! Blizzard is too incompetent to not change his shield to armor (dude is robotic why is a shield no different than health even a thing for him?!)
