Jeffrey Tam: I have seen several people saying that the AMR21's floor is the result of an illegal transfer of technology from Mercedes. While it does looks very similar in principle to the Merc's floor, I would argue that this is due that due to the very similar aero concept as opposed to any sort of foul play. Since the overall concepts and flow patterns are similar, engineers would be looking at similar wind tunnel data and coming up with similar ideas. I doubt the teams would try any sort of shenanigans *again*...

The Marauder: Mercedes increased their stake in Aston Martin's road division to 20% if i remember right, even Vettel and Toto purchased shares in the company too. The team borrows a lot from Mercedes, not that it matters because it doesn't mean they'll be on par with Mercedes anyway. They're basically the sister team to Mercedes in all but name at this point.
