@velocity1238: The two halves of her body are far to close together for my liking. I doubt they would get this complex in a TV show but a parasite capable of altering the body like that could still pull her back together and rapidly stimulate healing along the important areas. This may sound gross but the human body can already set organs back into place once everything is pushed back in and the hole is sealed or in this case the entire top is resealed to the bottom. Your body essentially remembers it's inner layout and shifts things back if it can. The parasites would absolutely assist this process. The second thing they could likely do is turn the portion of dna that controls the bodies growth and formation on and accelerate it. Hopefully it could later turn it back off. And the idea that she would be unconscious and unable is silly. She doesn't need to be conscious for what I'm talking about. I'm talking about the last ditch efforts of a parasite to maintain it's host and in turn it's life. The parasites immediately expiring with its host is boring and kind of a mistake for a parasite imo. She should come back all scarred and mutated from extra growth that had to occur while the parasite attempts to fix its heavily damaged host. This could also add the potential for further problems. What happens to the world if the parasite alters someone so much they become more monster than human. And I don't mean they would do bad things. They would literally become monsters no longer humans. Puppets to the parasites using the bodies biological functions to maintain itself long after the host is mentally gone.

He seen supes kill/destroy whenever they want facing no real consequences for their actions whatsoever. We can put this further into perspective by saying throughout the seasons his humanity was always being tested. However that same humanity kept being stripped away piece by piece. Put yourselves in Butchers shoes if you lived a world full of supes with no regard for humanity what would you do?

His character deserves better. So far it looks like primitive corruption by some kind of parasite, which simply makes him “evil”. @jeom3808: Wait i just realized another reason i disliked this scene. Neuman's powers aren't based on her eyes blowing people up, this was revealed in that "mid/decent" spin off show "Gen V". Not only she should have sensed the V in butcher, she should have still been able to put up a fight by using her actual powers of Blood Manipulation. Her hands were free. :\ I just see this as wasted potential for 'semi-ok' shock. Idk, the finale is just off to me, not bad or trash, but not great like the other seasons, just average or slightly above avarage.

@edible-gucamole1834: With the way Butcher barely says a word here and stands there motionlessly as the tentacles do their thing, it seems like he fully gave in to the parasite at this point, but I’d argue he’s still there, at least a little bit. Notice how he doesn’t kill any of the other Supes in the room, simply slapping Zoe to the side and keeping Annie and Kimiko at bay so they can’t intervene. If Butcher had truly given in to his internal struggle to kill all Supes, then they’d all be dead. His actions here show that he still cares a bit about Annie and Kimiko, and he spares Zoe, who he shouldn’t give a shit about, because she’s a child like Ryan. That’s just my hope anyway, since it definitely seems like Grace’s death was a turning point for him.
