On top of that, when my builds don’t look like mobile builds, they’re this weird smooth texture instead of the bubble wrap. My game looks like crap on performance mode :(

Moarze FN: V sync and g sync really are not bad things as long as you use them correctly. I use g sync personally as i have a 240hz g sync monitor. Before this I had 144hz without g sync. Everytime I would drop frames by alot as we all do during game. (Under 144hz) i capped at 240 frames btw. Because I didn't have g sync my screen would freeze and it made the game really harsh to play. G sync matches your refresh rate with your frames meaning if you drop the freezes are not felt or not as bad. If you cap your frames in the game files to 237 frame (3 frames under whatever your refresh rate is) you will not get any more delay from using these. Also I don't use v sync in fortnite. I use it in the control panel but personally v sync doesn't do much for me. G sync doesn't add any more delay as long as yoy cap your frames 3 frames lower.
