@onethingafteranother: My interpretation of the ruins 'timetravel' is similar to yours, i think its like Mirandas description of fromville, where that is a place that touches everywhere at once, the ruins place is somewhen that touches every time at once. I think because julies mind was imprisoned there, it is still there as the time is always. So she could cross the threshold with her mind whereas ethan isnt there, so he couldnt. But she went willingly, while previously she was taken. I think she'll go back for sure. I wonder if boyd will get exiled, perhaps to the cabins, probably with sara and elis. And some others go with him as they don't agree with whats happening in town. That would also give a fresher s4 when they are in a new place with the cabin monsters. It would also allow something bad to happen to the towns folk while protecting most of the main cast.

@CapeTownNick: The Children were born in the dark, where is fatima having her baby? in the dark. Maybe they are stuck in a time loop and they enter and exit reality and dont remember. Maybe more babies will be born in the dark and then they need to be sacrificed to end the loop. The story they are told is to give them hope and maybe that story is how they will be the ones who free everyone from this place. Tabitha is likely the one who loved them. Just some thoughts

The lyrics for that era-the early 70s, even used in a 1974 NYC cop film, was "it's the Pepsi generation, coming at you, going strong/put yourself behind a Pepsi, you're believing, you'll belong ..."The "new generation" ad was mostly in print magazines and even on t-shirts.

@DelanaQuinn: I suspect there is some childhood abuse going on with Henry going after Victor when he was younger. The long time drug and alcohol use, day drinking, and Victor calling himself stupid and useless, hitting himself, that came from somewhere. Now I wonder if the real story is Miranda took Eloise and Victor and fled because Henry was going off on them, perhaps chased them, caused them to wipe out in their vehicle, off a ravine or in the water, something, but Henry figured they were dead so he went home and played out this story that they left him. Something is off about Henry. Everyone else who ended up there was bound and determined to leave. Henry, who presumably knows next to nothing about what's going on or even why Victor is there, or what happened, isn't having conversations either.....he's just business as usual as if he's in Bangor for the weekend. The way he doesn't seem to really delve or ask the obvious questions like everyone else, his calm acceptance, it is curious. Makes me revisit the notion that Tabitha went through the tree to the lighthouse and out the window and into a version of Camden Maine but it was another reality where Henry was, maybe because he drank himself into a coma or something...and the boy in white is like a guide who sent Tabitha to fetch Henry and bring him into Fromville...but Camden Maine and Henry were not in IRL reality. I find it a little bit off that Victor told us the far away tree takes people to different places but the one far away tree always goes to one place....and it didn't play out like that. It makes it look like Camden is still part of Fromville, kind of Fromville adjacent. The children were born in the dark and murdered in the dark, put on the slabs and their blood formed the roots of the tree. A blood sacrifice and whatnot but the born in the dark / killed in the dark seems to be a bit more important than the roots.

I thought for sure when Ellis and Boyd got to the shed they'd find Fatima hovering over him eating his innards and licking her fingers like she's at KFC though, not gonna lie lol. When night falls, the monsters ignore her and head toward the people, killing many, as Jade has stolen the talismans after making a pact with the boy in white. By morning, after the massacre, Fatima escapes into the woods with Ellis chasing after her, followed by Boyd. The season closes with several dead, some in hiding, and others in the forest. The final scene reveals a flashback cliffhanger with Eloise, Victor, and Miranda in a wagon. Episodes 7-10: Fatima is pregnant and gives birth to a humanoid sack, which will turn into "Smiley," the creature Boyd killed with worm-filled blood. The numbers reveal musical notes, which Jade will play in the woods. It’s revealed that “angkhooey” means “remember.” Tabitha realises she's Victor's mother, while Jade recalls being Christopher, explaining the visions each has had. The final twist: Jim talks with Tabitha, who remembers her past life as Victor’s mother, and Jade realizes he was Christopher. Then a short-haired Julie, likely from the future, warns Jim to run. A bald man in a yellow suit appears, saying, "You shouldn’t have let your wife dig that hole,” and rips out Jim's throat as Julie screams. This intense final scene happens in daylight, suggesting different rules for the man in yellow than for the monster

@jamesedwards9054: Martin also knew who boyds wife was when they ment for the first time. When Juliee showed up martin seemed to be surpised which tells me that he is not the entity. He is also the one that asked her to throw boyd the rope which lets me know that he was trying to help boyd. So when he gave boyd the worms it was to protect him. If he had the worms then I think that means that the monsters underground couldn't eat him which would explain why he was tied up in chains. Remember that when boyd gave the monster the worms they opened him up and cicadas flew out of him. Randal is seeing cicadas. I believe that the monsters didn't kill Randal because he is infected with the cicadas. That is why they drove him back to the house stuck to an ambulance. All of these things lead me to believe that every monster in fromville has a predator. In this case the monsters predator are cicadas. Martin is also ex-military. You can tell from the tatoo that boyd saw in there first visit. He must of left out searching for answers and found the cicadas among other things. Also the fact that juliee was the only one that could get to that secret location is odd to me. She would have never been able to get to that location to throw the rope if boyd didn't get trapped in the chimney. I say that because both her and Randal felt weird when they were in the woods. That leads me to believe that both of them could have entered that secret location. But they was only able to enter that secret location because they were infected with the cicadas that was unleased when boyd visited and saw martin. The same thing happened with the Ambulance. When Tabitha and her husband first got lost there son was stuck in the Ambulance. When she came back it was in an ambulance that looked the same. I don't think that they are in a loop. I think it is more like a checkpoint. Kinda like when you play a video game and lose. You can start at a checkpoint with all of the knowledge you had before and you can guide the character throughout the game. The character that you are controlling has no idea what is going on but you do because you have played the game for several hours and know what to look for.

Maybe silo, or inception, interstellar, dark, west world, sci fi movies and shows that have depth. I’m always super excited for your videos! Would hate for you to run out of content when this is over in a few weeks till next season.

@garymon: I don’t think it’s time travel I think some characters, or maybe all the characters, are living through other people memories. When she drops the rope, it’s her experiencing the memory of the original person. When Boyd is in the well and later get the rope, he is also experiencing someone else’s past memory. When julie does that dream like transition from the dungeon to the caves she has jumped to a different persons memory. The most likely person eve dropping in the cave is a monster. Another example when we see Tabitha’s dream we are told that girl played by that actress is a young Tabitha but the pilgrim close don’t make sense for her. But I think her dream was experiencing the memory of another girl and we the viewer see a young Tabitha in the original girls clothes. Young Tabitha problem didn’t notice from her perspective. Before anyone panics that it’s all a dream and nothing matters. My guess if this is like a dream but with other peoples memories is that everything here is just as deadly as what we call real life. Die in From, you are dead. So the writers can do many strange things combining the strangeness of dreams combined with the dreams are not your memories so it just feel like another day in your life. Also the cycles would not require reincarnation. Tabitha and Miranda for example both re-lived the same memory of a person that originally tried to save the children and failed. Most people react to the same situation close enough so that the little variations have not been enough to resolve what needs to be resolved.

The children need the people to become trapped so they can try to save them somehow…maybe by going back in time and stopping the ritual in the first place.

@julia8386: Julie throwing Boyd the rope makes no sense currently - when Boyd was down the well, Tabitha & Victor were in the caves, at the same time Julie was in the diner all night. We see her wake up in the diner the next morning, so maybe she dreamed she was with Martin, and the scene in this episode is her remembering the dream (as she enters via a seizure). She hears Tabitha in the caves. Not sure why she didn't respond to Boyd when he was calling for help in the well, or why Martin never mentioned her to Boyd - possibly because she wasn't physically there. That episode opens with Boyd himself having a dream about ringing the bell in the town in bad weather with no one around. This whole show revolves around dreams & nightmares. The producers have said everything is actually explained in the first few episodes - my original theory was all this is in Ethan's mind - the Cromenockle story - and that is why everything is child-like - the houses look like how a child would draw them, a child would not understand that electrical things need wires inside the cords, there is a motel sign but no motel.This show is doing my head in!

It explains the electricity working with no metal wire in the cords, the water coming out of the tap, it can even explain why there are monsters coming out only at night from the forest and why their insides look out of order.
