@Ynxi-jinx: Guys she’s not dead if you watch the explosion in slow motion you can see a line of pink which is her and when the episode is over and Caitlyn is looking at the buildings floor plan we can see a vent right where the pink line went and the air ship we see at the end has jinx in it (also she’s in the game and 2xko there cannon so of course she’s not dead lol)

@crow3769: Okay. Jinx definitely escaped. There's a flash of purple strike before the explosion and it's only one strike, so it couldn't have been the explosion effect, and when Jinx's speed is enhanced with shimmer, there's purple strike. So, she definitely escaped

@brandon-ffelicity: theres a few bits of evidence that jinx survived; 1. right before the explosion, you can see a pink streak (jinxes shimmer ability) going away from the blast. if it was jinx she wouldve been far enough to survive. 2. Vi didnt watch her die, she turned away and started grieving before she set off the bomb. The writers mightve done this so that even if jinx survived or died, vi wouldnt know that, so her arc will still come full circle and she would have to let go of powder (and now jinx). 3. Near the end caitlyn was looking at the hexgate blueprint/layout while holding one of jinxes bomb trap parts, and then she smiled when she noticed there were tunnels built right where she "died" so she thought there was a chance that she survived. 4. Powder said that she would ride a blymp one day, and the last scene was a blymp flying away. Could be that jinx took that blymp out of piltover and she left everything behind Just a note that these are little breadcrumbs that the writers purposely added to let people interperate the ending, theres no confirmed end to jinxes story on purpose, to leave some ambiguity. I heard some people say arcane wouldnt make sense if jinx didnt die, but thats not really true, because if jinx left everything behind to start over and everyone thought she was dead then its basically just the same as her dying.

The Shimmer did its thing and probably got her away fast enough. Otherwise this scene would not make any sense and there is literally not a single scene in Arcane that does not make any sense 😉

@saunajaakko699: For you guys thinking that Jinx might be alive: I think developers are intentionally leaving it open for us to debate about it. It is the only real choice they would make, IF they want to create engaging story where we attach ourselves emotionally to tragic characters and if they want to avoid being too predictable It's intentionally a bitter sweet and sad ending where we are left wishing that this character could come back, have hope and heal. Devs are toying with us with leaving tiny breadcrumbs of conditional evidence for us. Flash of shimmer? Could just be part of the explosions pink side, Caitlyn looking at structure of Jinx's surroundings when she died and her smile? Could be that she herself is desperately hoping that Jinx could be alive and smile is just for Vi's humming. The balloon ship with Jinx styled "the end"? No body so she is alive? Isha died for good and no body shown. I just don't see any reason for Jinx to be alive as character, considering her whole storyline is about her ending up hurting everyone around her and she is spiraling towards self-destruction. She is doomed character. You guys who know Jinx's lore in the game could have more insight. If Jinx has any meaningful role or storyline to speak of in different regions of Runeterra, she will make appearances in other adaptations. But even if she were to make appearance, what her character arch would even be about? Jinx is most likely dead, but I emotionally don't want her to be dead. But that is exactly the thing why she had to die to make a show

@monsieurdoge.: Don’t worry. She didn’t die. Right as the explosion in the air shaft goes off, you can see a streak of purple going into an airshaft, that’s her using her shimmer powers. Later, when Caitlyn is examining the hexgate, she zooms in on an air shaft, she was also playing with the monkey bomb head, and yes you can say she was smiling from Vi humming but her realizing that Jinx is alive could be a possibility. Also, the airship at the end is a reference to Powder’s line in episode 1 „One day, I’m going to fly in one of those things.” Also, after the airship, if you slow it down, you can see „The End” barely as if Jinx wrote it. @KalamityPlaysMC: LITERALLY NOBODY IS DEAD EXCEPT AMBESSA. Viktor, Jayce, Ekko, and Heimer all got transported to another dimension just like what happened with ekko and heimer in the parallel world- It looks exactly the same. Warwick/Vander isn't dead because he's warwick, and we know that he's basically unkillable. Jinx isn't dead because we see.... 1. right as the explosion goes off, a purple streak dashes towards the upper right of the screen. 2. Caitlyn is looking at the vents right after that scene happens. 3. We see an airship leaving piltover after that(and we know powder said she's going to ride one of those one day in season 1). Additionally, we know Jinx and Vander/Warwick aren't dead because, when ti comes to the directing of the show, their death scene wasn't drawn out enough. If they actually died we would've gotten a longer death scene where the last bits of vander come out of warwick and say to jinx "I forgive you" or something like that. Everyone is obviously still alive.

@marzapane6068: I read that many people would like things to stay this way, because that was "the perfect moment" for Jinx to die, but i really think she survived (I can tell from Catelyn's scene and the air baloon too). Personally I would have accepted his death without any problems, but I also like the idea that she is alive. She was "the jinx" that ruined the lives of people she cared most. Jinx knows that until she is around, Vi and the others can't get the "happy ending" that they deserves. She's caused too much trouble in Piltover/Zaun, and she's done with that, so she decide to leaves pretending to be dead. I mean, whether she is dead or alive, she "broke the cycle". But if she survived, i like the idea that she can finally use her talent to built instead of destory, like Victor said. PS: Also c'mon, we already had the "heart breaking death" with Isha.

I'm probably being dilutional, but at the beginning of the series, baby powder says "One day I'm gonna ride in one of those." she points to a blimp. At the end Caitlyn is looking at blue prints of the area where jinx fell, showing air tunnels she could have gotten out in. THEN it shows the air blimp from the beginning of the series flying away. I think she's on that ship. PLEASE

@Mr.GD_1: she is alive first when the explosion happens before that u can see a purple line for a single frame ( same as jinx super speed ) second cat see the blueprint there will be lot of ventilation in that chamber where the bomb explode ( jinx escaped through that vent ) plus ekko said before these ventilation spread throughout underground city third the last scene u can see a blimp ( powder said in first episode oneday she want to travel in that blimp ) and we can see jinx scribbles at the end of that scene means she is leaving piltover and zaun fourth i believe jinx is going to noxus ( is a region the next arcane story will be focused i think so) because we saw swain's crow (sixeye) travel along with the noxus ship ( maybe to cure warwick/vander i dont know)

@katyuha555: Well, we got to admit...even if jinx was supposed to die, it was sure as hell not in this way. It felt almost meaningless. She tried to kill herself so many times, that I truly didnt feel a thing this time when she "succeed". They shouldve let her either go completely insane, or give her more than 4 sec screentime for a normal death scene. If she escaped on that ballon, it shoulve been more clear that she did. right now? It just feels like a bit of a lazy writing...and too rushed. This show is amazing and deserved better. Jinx deserved better as a character.
