@luzukom213: By the end of the season, I was crying at the end of each episode because it was over, and because I was moving closer to the end of the season. Also each episode was just so well-written, directed and performed that by the end each there would be some tense bittersweet, yet satisfying closure, even if, or especially if there were some hanging end or unknown exposed to be further continued.

I feel like it degrades us all to use bad language. It's like the movie, Idiocracy... they became so unintelligent and could barely speak without cussing, and that's where we're headed.

@SteveC-fp6pt: Anyone have any idea why Turks are constantly portrayed as villains against Greeks in U.S. movies and series? As far as I know, the Greeks, French, Armenians, and British were the ones trying to destroy Turkey at one point, and despite that, after securing their lands, the Turks never attacked Greece or any of those countries again. From what my grandmother told me, Mustafa Kemal, who is regarded as the founder of modern Turkey, even refused to step on a Greek flag out of respect. Today, Turkish and Greek people are like brothers; their cultures are so similar that they resemble each other in many ways. So why do Greek politicians and the U.S. keep trying to fuel hatred between them? What is America's motive in constantly pushing other countries towards conflict? Let's say the Turks did kill Greeks, but did the Greeks never kill Turks? Does anyone truly believe this nonsense? The U.S. is becoming a significant threat to world peace, and in my opinion, the biggest obstacle to achieving global harmony. I never thought I’d defend Turks, but they are far from being the greatest perpetrators of atrocities. That title goes to Germans and Americans. And wasn’t it the Romans who killed the most Greeks?

Just watched season 1 and about to watch season 2. Could've done without "Da'vine Joy Randolph" though. You don't always need to have a loud Black woman, js.

For a moment I thought there was something wrong with my TV so I changed the channel and no problem so I went back to ABC but still couldn't hear their voices .

@barbkagel1216: OMG...am I the only person that dislikes this show? I think I heard so much hype about it, I expected more. I thought it was about 3 quicky people. But it turns out they are liars, fakes, criminals and somewhat pathetic people. Apparently writers still think that characters need to be deep and have secrets to be interesting. Again, I was hoping for just quirky people trying to solve crimes. By the way, if they are semi-crime experts, why are they breaking into the lady's apartment to steal the box and not wear gloves?

They were killed or died from starvation or disease. Foreign witnesses including journalists, missionaries and diplomats reported on the atrocities. The total number of Armenian dead is disputed. Armenians say 1.5 million died. The Republic of Turkey estimates the total to be 300,000. According to the International Association of Genocide Scholars (IAGS), the death toll was "more than a million". After the World War I, the Armenian allegations were investigated between 1919-1922 as part of a legal process against the Ottoman Officials. 144 high ranking officials were accused of “massacres” and deported for trial by Britain to the island of Malta. The information which led to the trial was mainly given by the local Armenians and the Armenian Patriarchate. While the deportees were interned on Malta, The British occupation forces in Istanbul, with absolute power and authority, looked everywhere to find evidence in order to incriminate the deportees. At the conclusion of the investigation, no evidence was found that could corroborate the Armenian claims. In 2005, Turkey proposed to Armenia the establishment of a Joint History Commission, which will be composed of historians and experts from both sides and third parties in order to study the events of 1915 in their historical context and share the findings with the international public. The fact that this proposal is yet to receive a positive answer from the Armenian authorities, when considered together with their rejection to open all the relevant archives to the historians, gives a clear idea about their confidence in what they claim. On the contrary, Turkey has no reason to be afraid of its past and is ready to accept whatever the findings of this proposed commission will be. It should be emphasized that Turkey has always been keen to normalize its relations with Armenia. In line with its vision towards Southern Caucasus, Turkey, recognised Armenia on 16 December 1991 and has produced a consistent policy of efforts to develop good-neighbourly relations with this country. Due to the difficult economic conditions it encountered after its independence, Turkey has extended humanitarian aid to Armenia. Turkey has also facilitated the transit of humanitarian aid to this country through its territory. Turkey supported Armenia’s integration with the regional organisations, international community and the western institutions, and invited Armenia to the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization as a founding state. Additionally, Turkey took a series of unilateral steps that would help creating a favourable climate in the region. In this regard, some of Turkey’s recent unilateral gestures towards Armenia are as follows: Armenian citizens are welcome to visit Turkey through visas issued at the entry points valid for 30 days. In stark contrast, this is not the case for Turkish citizens who intend to visit Armenia. Thousands of Armenian citizens reside primarily for employment in Turkey. Finally, I want to draw your attention to the desperate plight of the people of Armenia, suffering from the dire economic conditions in the country which is self-isolated as a result of the intransigent attitude of the wealthy diaspora. I believe that the Armenians have become captive to their own lie of “genocide” and every single support to the baseless Armenian allegations from the third parties will further cut their connection with the truth and prevent their integration to the West.
