@GabrielKish: If you want to show your kids that Mom and Dad can scare the shit out of you when they want too, this is the series that will do it. It's a MUST SEE for anyone that loves hard-core fantasy long-film story lines with a massive budget and top shelf actors, acting and sets. This must have been one of the most expensive series ever filmed. The quality is that high. Its both breathtaken and horrifying from scene to scene. The love scenes are realistic without being graphic but they're pretty hot without showing too much flesh (you can fast forward through them). No swearing in any words we use, so that's a bonus. No graphic violence shown but you don't need to see it to know something horrible is going to happen to the serial killers Fae victims. Scary like the first Alien movie but less violent. It's dark but when they want to blow you away with beauty, they epically succeed. Lord of the Rings set in the Victorian days steam trains, flushing toilets, zeppelin, horses, sailing ships, gorgeous manisons and primitive firearms. You're in for such a treat, but if your children are young, it will probably effect them for life in some negative way. Like demanding to sleep in your bed for life or really being terrified by the horrible monsters in the dark waiting to eat them.
