@gerardojg: I've been of the opinion since it became obvious that Camile was an undercover player in the game. She is playing the long game. At this point, it isn't clear what her end goal may be. My money is on making Sims the head of IT. That's my guess.Написать
@ДарьяБутикова-ь6ь: Folks from mechanical could have just shut down the generator untill Bernard stops starving them instead of this risky and complicated plan with moving the barricades..... They have all the bargaining power in literally holding the power in their hands... Why don't use it again?! Can anybody explain me that, please!
@berlindude75: According to Variety earlier this week, Apple has greenlit seasons 3 and 4, with season 4 envisioned to be the final season. Since there are two books left to cover, it stands to reason that season 3 will cover the second book and season 4 will finish with the final third book.
@LuannFrancisco: Maybe a spoiler: I read all the books, and the show is very different from the original story. I like the show adaptation, but the only thing I am not enjoying is how they are introducing Solo. On the show, he is acting like a selfish cunt, but on the books, he is a very nice person.
@UnknownUnrecognized: 11:36 he had to be threatened to give information, did not want to share it
@UnknownUnrecognized: all episodes are out on dw now:)
@positron96: I'm pretty sure "The Legacy" is an archive of knowledge from the civilization before, including XX century cryptography textbook.
@carlosponchio1869: Silo 17 water. Where is it going to be pumped to?
@abigailsda1: worst episode out of the two seasons
@muhammadshahyan8552: I thought we lived in the future, flush the whole serie in one go, the wait for the next episode is killing me ..
@EverydayReloadingandShooting: Proof that Billing’s condition was psychological. Induced by lack of purpose. Focused on that now, the condition goes away. So much in this episode! Knox and Shirley kissing; only to be interrupted? More on that come for sure. This series is so multilayered it is beyond fascinating. It is spellbinding.
@warrick3w881: What really puzzles me is why blame things on mechanical if they are the ones who literally keeps the lights on 🤔🤔 I mean why start war with the people who basically hold the keys to the silo cass if u kill the mechanics are they basically killing the entire silo 🤔🤔
@nnkk7742: I wish they focused more on the core plot elements and less on the hippie commune fantasies of the show producers.
@conors4430: Am I the only one who thinks that this episode could have easily been episode two or three at most? The others were just filler. Also, the show is continuing to break its own rules which is annoying. This episode was not as bad as the last couple in terms of ludicrous things going on and horrible acting But shows to break the rules of their own world is just a letdown. I also love how there was an entire plot point in the episode about needing to get their hands on proper pain and drug medication for Patrick Kennedy which led to an elaborate thing with the sheriff, the sheriffs wife and Juliet’s dad, only for Julia’s dad to arrive and ask him if he was ready to proceed, And if he could feel anything, and for Patrick to say that he didn’t care. If he didn’t care, what was the whole elaborate plot line about getting Juliet’s dad down to him in the first place. The show is really bad at this kind of shit. Also, solo Now blackmailing. Juliet seems to be nothing more than dragging this drama out to fill a season. Spoiler warning, in the book, Juliette’s only option is to get rid of the water that is filling the silo because she learns that this is the best way to get what she wants, But the show has inserted some elaborate crap about a suit just so solo can hide it from her and drag all of this shit out. I am getting very close to unsubscribing from the show. It’s gone from cool and need to imploding. And that’s before we even go to Bernard, who is the most suspicious man in the entire show, doesn’t trust anybody, sent Lucas to the mines for knowing too much, and seemingly on a whim has now inducted him to be his shadow at the drop of a hat. It’s just fucking dumb.
@gmonorail: the sheriff is head of security. amundsen is not. but even you fall for this deception. sheriff needs to arrest and detain bernard. who manufactures the guns, and who supplies "judicial" raiders with them?
@r3lativ: Last episode they showed that Mechanical can shut off the electricity at any time. How are THEY not having the upper hand in any kind of negotiation? This episode they didn't even mention that they could shut off power. It seems there should be impossible to blackmail them in any way.
@lanceobe6801: Could they stop with the crusty old gay shit, it's fucking stupid
@tjlambaes: If you want to know, I’ll tell you what kills you if you go outside.
@natecaplin4374: From a book reader (don’t worry, no spoilers…), it gets so much better. The show seasons 1 & 2 are covering just the first book, Wool, of the trilogy series. Book 2, Shift, which I hope the show covers faithfully and in full in season 3, is a prequel that does an astonishing job of connecting the before-times to the “present”, despite it covering hundreds of years. It connects back to a near-future of our real world, but also introduces fantastic new characters that carry through into the “present” and future of the series. It also fills in the fantastic backstory of Solo in Silo 17. As great as Tim Robbins and Rebecca Ferguson are as Bernard and Juliette, I’m excited to see who they cast (hoping for some heavyweight actors) for these new characters from Shift, especially Donald, Thurman, and Anna.
@diaegon: At this point, a whole episode with just a few seconds inside Silo 17 feels almost useless honestly.... we need more Jules + Solo
@yodon6867: Solo is the creator of the silo
@rwfrazier: Is The Legacy a computer?
@ginomo80: Pete, would you consider doing a book vs show spoiler video? I’d love to know your takes on the differences.
@marcossnchz9820: Tim Robbins was cooking this episode for sure
@douglasPmn: The only way to save the silo on Bernard’s watch is for Bernard to go out and Clean.
@WileCoyoteMoncure-Smith: Seeing Bernard slip out of character and slip back in while visiting the former Judge was quite enjoyable. I felt I was right there with him.
@WileCoyoteMoncure-Smith: Pete, we tend to watch all of the same things. I have a feeling I am missing out on something, though. Do you have a list?
@Spaceouts: Someone decoded Salvador Quinn's message. it is as follows: SPOILER * If you’ve gotten this far you already know. The game is rigged. We think we’re the chosen ones but we’re only one of many The founders didn’t build a single silo They built fifty And they created the safeguard We have been lied to. We are not safe. our home is not a sanctuary but a trap. The fate of this silo is determined by another One with the power to kill everyone here in an Instant reason be damned. If you don’t believe me go to the very bottom of the silo, down the tunnel, you will get confirmation there.
@mikenelson507: Lukas plot was surprising but feels like a shrewd move by Bernard. I thought it was interesting that Solo was much more focused\coherent when it came to his demands.
@cheyenne9081: We have heard “legacy” before, Bernard asked meadows about it when he put that VR headset on her
@johncnorris: Smart show.
@simply_the_dev7588: The Wheel of Time book readers complained too about a few deviations. I've read the book and I'm cool with the changes but entitlement always prevails. By the way could you do the Wheel of Time from Amazon?
@wangtoriojackson4315: IIRC we have heard about the "Legacy" once before, when Meadows was letting Bernard show off his Apple Vision Pro even though he had just poisoned her. That was a weird scene.
@aaronquarintino3787: Watch these videos at 1.15x speed. Love these videos but the speaking is too slow 🐌
@D_isco_D_ancer: Im not getting tired of saying how boring this show is. The writtters believe they can keep this show alive just by intrigue. Who knows who and who knows what and who is conspiring against me, da da da. The books series premise is way more interesting that this and just to keep the show "on budget" the apple fritters decide to go the boring way. Its pathetic. And yes I keep coming back to this show because there isn't anything interesting inn Apple since they killed Foundation. Everything in Apple library is utter garbage.
@eds1942: This episode was low point of the season for me, so far. While we did have character and plot development with most of the povs, it just didn’t hit emotionally or mentally for me. More like they were just trying to hit the mark points that the characters needed to be in by this point in the season arc, rather than the episode’s director and editor having mind making a great and/or gripping hour of tv. It’s kinda weird though, with the how fast people seem to be moving about the Silo now, when compared to how long they made out such a trek to take in season 1. I mean, realistically,it shouldn’t take but 6 hours max, if you were taking it easy to transverse the entire depth of the Silo from top to bottom, but the mayor and sheriff’s deputy took near 3 days to do so, managing to work up a decent sweat in the process, and now they seem to be doing this it what must be several hours with some breaks in between. It’s 144 levels deep. With no more than 50 feet between levels. But, considering the temperature gradient underground, and that people need to be able to work long shifts at the lowest levels, it can’t be over a mile deep at its lowest point. So, even if there are 500 steps between levels, we are talking about a walking distance of less than 14 miles between top and bottom. But it’s more likely closer to half of that.
@jointgib: good recap
@Gos1234567: This is going so slow it will probably run for a decade...yawn
@Cacheola: Terrible episode. So terrible, I'm not interested in watching the breakdown...
@DarthDoggo: 8:55 I thought these videos were book spoiler free??
@wmla31: Well Lucas is back, and they found a way to get back to draining the water 17! Enjoying how they are trying to keep on track and interesting
@docweidner: Finally got around to starting the books. afinished the first one. Would love a differneces video after the season, especiallybdepe ding on how this season ends. I feel like it is working towardsbthe end of book one, but there are enough differences that I wonder what might be a spoiler and what might be a permanent differeence. vague spoilers below... For example, as you mentioned the Judge never shows up in Book One like this. And Lucas become the shadow vary as does the ammount of what Vernard knows. It seems like Book Bermard has more information about the world especially the world of the Silos. I think the changes to Walker are fine, as is the change to Shirley. Her book husband almost felt like his purpose was what it was. I am still trying to be vague here in case someone ignored the warning. Speaking of Silos and spoilers, the differences here are almost as striking. Solo, in general, the extent of the flooding and the lacknof the Party of Five (Six). I guess since I came to the book from the show I am not as tied to book canon. But I also like Foundation, though I view it as a different universe from the book universe. I prefer the books in that case, but I like the show and am intrigued with some of the changes. And not having finished the books, maybe some of what has been in this season is later brought up in those, but it really feels like the first two seasons of the shownline up with the book. I suspect Season 2 may end with Juliet heading back. Sonce they are supposed to be dome by season 4, sounds like a lot to squeeze into 2 seasons, but need to get through the next two books to say.
@AndyofCT: I hope they continue to diverge from the books… like keeping the core but changing the specifics. 1:1 adaptations are fine, but I feel like the final product is best when modified for the specific medium.
@The10thManRules: I'm still made that he killed such a beautiful, full figured queen. Common should've said, "Nah son, we ain't kill'n no sistahs up in this here Silo. I survived a fight with Jon Wick. You damn sure ain't got it like that."
@joewalsh9685: Clearly, the Founders did not write the Order from the start of the Silo’s. This was written based on experience in leading the Silo’s. It must have been a document that was continuously updated. I wonder when it was last updated.
@NichoTBE: How did he become the shadow in the books?
@mercilessforever: Huge fan of your theory vids and commmentaries since I found your channel from Dark. Unlike soo many BS channels that claim to do theories or reviews. You actually offer insight and try to answer questions posed from the show. I like how your content isn't just a recap of a show we just saw. Poeple come for insight and here, we get just that! Well done!
@xFalconn1: Slowest season I’ve watched in any series in a long long time. Almost unbearable at times.
@nadca2: youtube video qJXezh8NDFA has the creator tell you how long solo has been alone. small spoiler
@CryptographyFan: Camille does reveal her motivation when talking to Sims: she wants to see Bernard’s mistakes (with Sims) get to bite him and think this will bring Sims back in favor.
@JustanotherDude0114: I can understand Bernard telling Sims that he's the reason he had to kill the judge. But for him to say it in private with the dead body is a blatant lie. He never created the suit for the judge He never had plans on making the suit for the judge. When she demanded to go outside he knew he had to kill her. So it was not Sims that put him in that position and he knows it wasn't Sims. So for him to say it in private seems like poor writing. I don't buy that he's so mentally unstable that he's had to assign her death to somebody else, when it's clearly his own fault
@MaySmithereen: The Shawshank reference cracked me up
@TheSkippy82: I am having a terrible day and Pete brings a xmas gift of a breakdown. God bless you sir
@jguo52: Juliette is a fave for sure and we didn’t see her much this episode. But Tim Robbins is a real OG and can certainly hold an episode up by himself.
@synonys: Sims is gonna be pissed when he finds out Lukas is Bernard’s shadow.
@snarkmark2806: Shouldn’t the Meadows be starting to smell about now? They don’t embalm, they turn corpses into apple tree food.
@rickoriod9692: season 2 sucks
@Jessedessie: I loved season 1 so I read the books and now I'm kinda struggling to enjoy the show. I cant tell if it's me or if it's the show that has changed
@rcuadro: I don't like how they are making Solo to be sorta evil.
@jsonyu179: book readers, with it ending with Season 4. will it be possible at this point in time to adapt all 3 books? Ive not read the books so im asking this question!
@JTwelks32: Filler crap episode
@gerardojg: Personally, seeing the Sheriff take a stand for the Law was inspiring.
@Alex-tk2oh: Pete, you are a good reviewer. How could you tolerate terrible TV like this episode?
@Alex-tk2oh: There is endless shit, which can be totally eliminated, in Silo season 2. Juliette only had 30 second run time in episode 6. The show is deteriorating rapidly.
@LuL706: we need book spoiler episodes too !!!
@DaveFreeborn: Thanks! Glad you got this out right away ❤
@universalcollective427: For my money, this was a MUCH better episode than last weeks. Last weeks episode bummed me out so much I debated whether even to watch any more. But this last ep was great. I never read the books, I'm not interested in the season trailer spoilers, but I'm interested to see whether or not Juliette ends up fragging Solo to get control of the IT vault and her suit back
@rentristandelacruz: 5:18 "If you have the option of letting Andy Dufresne cook. You're gonna do that right?" That's why that actor seems so familiar.
@clutch2827: Cringe kisses in this one. This season is just a drag.
@gibdi0n: what make sno sense is blaming only ppl that know how to service generator
@claudiogallucci563: This was my least favorite episode by far
@dlachmy: !!!!!! spoiler theory !!!!! In case of a failed cleaning, prepare for war ========= perhaps i;ts mean ===== if you clean your dead ==== if you don't clean your not !!! dead💥💥💥
@LeeDawson: Love the weekly coverage, thanks
@georgeclooney5316: I am very disappointed about the episodes have been stalling since the ep.2. It was a good start in ep.1 that it felt like a "Alice in Wonderland" story. It was attractive only in ep.1. But since ep.2, all the stories are junks. A lot of guys doing gay stuffs, meaningless conversations and so on without any progress to the story. Alice should be exploring to other silos just like the story in Fallout; or Alice is being sexually abused by the hentai man Solo (which usually happens in the Japanese hentai animes in an environment like that)...etc. That's what we are expecting to see. The one who wrote the story after ep.1 should be fired. Watching this show is now really boring. A lot of scenes are unnecessary. We sincerely hope that the whole production team would be fired asap. What a crap they ruined the whole story.
@seenev: When Knox and Shirley kissed, my wife was like "she's not gay???"
@leslieneufeld8410: I wasn’t a fan of this episode , I wish it just got on with Juliette’s story
@Lol-cm6ko: The first one here guys
